@JasonDukeEvans Surprised nobody has thrown Chris Beard in there as a dark horse. Know last year was disappointing and has a ton of controversy but has shown he can coach at a high level

Don’t quite understand why everyone felt this was going to be a dramatic turnaround in 1-year.

Woof. Cavaliers raced out to a 20+ point lead early on and never took their foot off the gas. Sam Lewis and Thjis de Ridder absolutely carved the Wolfpack’s defense. Nice bounce back from UVa after the 3OT loss to VT.

He obviously shouldn’t have done it but at the same time to walk off the court right after the buzzer to avoid confrontation with ND at the end was wild, when you blow a game like that as the stripes feel like you have to take it on the chin

The ACC has issued a public reprimand of Notre Dame coach Micah Shrewsberry — but has NOT suspended him.
ACC said Shrewsberry “aggressively confronted” an official, and that “the unsportsmanlike behavior that was displayed is unacceptable.”

@BrendanRMarks I agree with 1 and 2.
3 and 4 disagree with. Has been a consistent problem with Scheyer, wins becoming losses. Houston last year, NC state in E8. Since he has been coach Duke just hasn’t really had a killer instinct.
Great coach and happy he is the guy but certainly a fault

Don’t disagree it’s a disheartening way to lose, but:
1. To a good team that doesn’t hurt your resume;
2. Rather now than March;
3. Gives Scheyer leeway to more curtly tweak rotations;
4. And maybe most importantly, gives Scheyer film he can ride for the rest of the season.

Seeing some people kill Duke rn like the sky is falling…
Same team won AT Michigan State, vs. Arkansas on a neutral, made the late game-winning plays vs. Florida. Staying undefeated with *this* schedule as long as Duke did shows how good it can be. One loss doesn’t negate that!

Duke has been in on Sarr for a loooong time, but Jon Scheyer still had to seal the deal this week after Kansas nearly landed Sarr. With Cedric Coward looking increasingly likely to stay in the NBA Draft, Sarr fills a pivotal role on the perimeter. Huge pickup for Duke.

@GoodmanHoops Schutt, Reeves and Blakes were never going to play and have never gotten consistent minutes during their tenure.
You also fail to mention they’re bringing in the most hyped recruiting class since Zion & RJ with arguably the best recruit since Anthony Davis… but yes decimated

@GoodmanHoops This is click bait. Turnover is extremely common at Duke. Last year was an anomaly with how many guys returned. Breaking down the transfers… Roach will be missed; Mitchell would not fit on the team next year; Stewart and Power would both be rotation who can be replaced;
