There is not a single Democratic primary playing out in Colorado in which one candidate is ideal and the other is a monster. Not a single damn one. Anybody who comes at you with their hair on fire to the contrary should be regarded with suspicion. #copolitics

For those that aren’t following the Colorado AG Democratic primary, remember the name David Seligman. David’s platform includes prosecuting ICE, protecting immigrants, taking on AI & Big Tech companies, and going after corporate polluters. His establishment-backed opponent, Secretary of State Jena Griswold, is trying to coast to the nomination. David’s got the juice. He’s got the grassroots support. He’s not a politician. He’s an experienced attorney who has spent his career fighting for working people and immigrants. Who genuinely gives a shit about Coloradans. An upset is brewing. This is just the beginning.

CO is my home. I served 10 years as a cop in the Denver metro area. I’ve seen the rise in crime firsthand — and I’ve seen the turnaround. Denver homicides are down 41% this year because our federal law enforcement is empowered again. Public safety works when we back the blue.

Another very normal day on Bluesky, where users are now calling for the federal government to invade and occupy Maine if Platner wins his Senate race

Here are just a couple highlighted bills we will be hearing on third readings on the House floor today that expand government, quick hits: HB26-1202 (Homelessness Strategy) Creates new taxing authorities + redirects fees for housing subsidies. This bill would massively grow government programs & taxes. HB26-1005 (Collective Bargaining) Eases union rules & forces good-faith negotiations. This bill would increase government meddling in private labor.

Tracy St. Louis came to vote Tuesday in Greensboro with his dog Susie. "Just seems to be a lot of gray hair in the room," he said. "What I find is a lot of younger people still have to go to work. They don't shut things down for the town meeting." #a-vermonter-reflects-on-a-lifetime-of-town-meetings" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">vermontpublic.org/live-updates/l…

NEW: Colorado Secretary of State and Attorney General candidate Jena Griswold (D) is falsely claiming she has argued before the US Supreme Court

The idea of letting local governments tax homeowners who are away for significant amounts of time is finished. But just as that bill was dying, a #coleg member suggested he's about to introduce another housing bill that could spur significant debate: tsscolorado.com/committee-kill…

Sen. Cantwell presented Babydog a plate full of lobster for almost predicting the Super Bowl results (off by a point)

Average tax refunds are projected to jump by $1,000 this year — returning $91 BILLION back to the American people. The largest tax refund season in U.S. history is here thanks to @HouseGOP’s Working Families Tax Cuts. More money back in your pocket. 💵🇺🇸
