Isn't it wild? Incredibly frustrating. ..what they're doing to $SMR makes little/no sense. Slow/Pause & let price recover. Move through the sell without force, discretely, and you'll see a better return. Instead? BAM. IMO? ..investors are preparing to front run the end of supply.

It never seems to fail in MN You get a glimpse of spring with mid 50s to 60s and sunny weather. Then it gets cold and drops a foot of snow. It’s going to take at about 2 weeks to melt a foot.

@SHistorians No. I will ride for the 7wood movement until the day I die. I talk about it like cross fitters who tell you they CrossFit

Would like your thoughts. I am considering ditching the 3 wood for a 4 or 5 wood. In truth I have never hit the 3 wood high enough. Also thinking about dropping the 4 iron for a higher numbered wood or hybrid. Has anyone made this transition and didn’t like it?

@MidwestGolfJake I brought athletic tape and wrapped my feet every day. I had a caddie for a few rounds and didn’t for others. I was surprisingly fresh. Which assuredly was due to the high of being at Bandon as well.

@MidwestGolfJake I had these same concerns and a legit foot issue when I left for bandon, because of that, I didn’t “train” much. I am a walker typically. However, I did go in January 2025, so those were my first rounds in months. The shoe/sock comments are spot on…

This prompts a question. I am going to Bandon in 2027. It will almost certainly be my first rounds of 2027. How should I train to be ready to walk 36 per day for 3 straight days? Should I take a caddie for every round? Any other tips to prep me?

@MyGolfSpy I am %100 convinced posters here complaining of heat have never been really cold. I saw complaints of 20 in Ohio? How about negatives for 2 moths straight. I haven’t seen significant sunlight in months. Give me hot temps every day. Especially if the winter months are good too

I’m convinced living in a warm and sunny climate all year is 100x better for your golf game than living in a cold hell hole for nearly a quarter of the year.

CBS is done until Augusta. So they’ll go Pebble-Riviera-Augusta-Hilton Head. Might be the last time it happens. Not sure there’s a more visually appealing stretch in golf for a network
