A lot of Veterans see the Oath of ENLISTMENT as something that does not expire. I see it this way: The legal requirements that hold you to the UCMJ are only contractual if you are currently serving. This means following Orders of the President, etc... Once you end your service contract, that's it. No more obligation. The moral obligation we feel regarding protecting the Constitution doesn't have an expiration date and we can choose to continue that mindset or not. I see it as a Right (we can choose to exercise it or not.) Bottom line: The Oath holds no legal authority anymore, but we can choose to act in ways that support and defend the Constitution, if we desire to do so.

This is the hardest thing I’ve ever had to write. I’m completely devastated. Last Friday, I️ was notified that my monetization had been paused. I’ve shown up on this app for 5 years straight every single day to grow my account to what it is now. After appealing once, I️ was told my account was removed due to calling everybody gay and retarded all the time. This couldn’t be further from the truth. I️ spend 6-12 hours on X daily in addition to my full time job; calling people gay, calling people retarded, triggering retards with shitposts about selling bitcoin to pay off mortgages and how I refuse to pick up my dog’s shit. But I only did it to the gay retards who truly deserved it. Having to do this publicly feels so pathetic, because it is. I️ don’t expect everyone to be able to understand the severity of this situation because they will never see the time, sacrifices and work put into growing an account from 0 followers to over 14k. I️ can’t begin to explain the things I’ve sacrificed to get to the point of being paid to call people gay and retarded online, and I️ can’t help but feel like the platform has failed me. The freedom I️ was given was amazing up until now. I️ truly never thought something like this would happen.

@EODHappyCaptain And with AI the military saying fits perfectly, "Trust, but verify." Ai will present its conclusion with certainty. But many times there are errors in there. Always run the numbers yourself before submitting the details.

Ai has its uses. Here’s a recent one, I witnessed firsthand: A Soldier was notified that they had a substantial financial debt to the tune of close to 7k dollars. The only problem? The Soldier has no idea what the issue is, so they go to finance. Finance can’t figure it out. They say the debt is legitimate and the Soldier must pay. His only option is to request forgiveness from the first COL in the chain of command. In order to do so, he must provide evidence as to why he doesn’t owe the money. The problem is that no one knows what the debt is for, so he cant provide evidence. So him and the 1SG take all of his paystubs and put it into GenAi. The response? There was a mistake at a previous duty station. Not only does he not owe the money, finance owes HIM money. He takes all the evidence to finance. They process everything and he goes from owing thousands to getting thousands. Stay on top of your finances folks.

@marc02200 Show him the gov inflation rate loss of his pension over the last 15 yrs & then the next 15+ yrs. He will be so pissed he will ask for a way out. The value of the pension will likely be less than 1/2 the total dollars he puts in by the time he needs it.
