ओडिशा के केंदुझर जिले में हुई एक चौंकाने वाली घटना में राजस्व संभागीय आयुक्त (आरडीसी) ने बैंक अधिकारियों को जिम्मेदार ठहराया है, जहां एक बुजुर्ग व्यक्ति को अपनी बहन की मौत साबित करने के लिए उसका कंकाल बैंक तक ले जाना पड़ा, क्योंकि वह उसकी जमा राशि नहीं निकाल पा रहा था। आरडीसी के अधिकारी मुख्यमंत्री मोहन माझी के निर्देश पर जांच के लिए तुरुमुंगा गांव में रहने वाले जीतू मुंडा के घर पहुंचे। यह जांच जिला प्रशासन के अधिकारियों-केंदुझर कलेक्टर विशाल सिंह, अतिरिक्त कलेक्टर रबिंद्र प्रधान और उप-कलेक्टर उमाशंकर दलई के साथ मिलकर की जा रही है। जीतू मुंडा की बहन का ओडिशा ग्रामीण बैंक, मल्लिपासी में खाता था। दो महीने पहले उसकी मृत्यु हो गई थी। उसके पति और इकलौते बच्चे की पहले ही मौत हो चुकी थी, जिससे जीतू ही उसका एकमात्र जीवित रिश्तेदार बचा था। जब जीतू अपनी बहन के खाते से बची हुई राशि निकालने बैंक पहुंचा, तो बैंक प्रबंधक ने मना कर दिया। उन्होंने कहा कि या तो खाताधारक स्वयं उपस्थित हो या फिर कानूनी उत्तराधिकारी के दस्तावेज प्रस्तुत किए जाएं। बार-बार कोशिश करने के बावजूद जब वह पैसे नहीं निकाल सका, तो हताश होकर जीतू अपनी बहन के अवशेष (कंकाल) लेकर बैंक पहुंच गया। उसने बताया कि वह करीब तीन किलोमीटर तक तेज धूप में पैदल चलकर बैंक गया। घटना की जानकारी मिलने पर पुलिस बैंक पहुंची और जीतू को भरोसा दिलाया कि मामले को मानवीय आधार पर सुलझाया जाएगा। इसके बाद अवशेषों को वापस श्मशान ले जाकर दोबारा दफना दिया गया। #Odisha #BankSkeltonCase #DainikJagran
