@lukeappleton Wonderful message on dying to oneself and living for Him! How was church for you, Brother Luke?

@LeahRay44 Because WC doesn't rank enough to warrant a better facility. Sorry.

@sarahtexe In a word, yes. Since it's inception in 1980 by Jimmy Carter, public education has gone down the toilet as left wing political indoctrination has risen. It needs to be gone.

@compliantvc I can't help but think your carbon footprint is as large as your overwhelming self-smugness. But such is life. Toodles.

@DefiantLs Hmm... if he's not the Anti-Christ, he sure is a (the) false prophet.

@TheMuppetPastor @Soteriology101 You can't deny the doctrine of predestination and election. It's literally all over the Bible. How can you refute it?
English

@Soteriology101 “Jesus loves me, this I hope. Unless I was predestined for nope.”

I hear these kinds of comments pretty regularly, and I get where they’re coming from—I really do. Sometimes these theological debates can be a distraction.
However, so can watching sports, golfing, fishing, playing video games, scrolling the web, etc. We must keep things in perspective and remember that we are discussing the doctrine of our salvation, an important doctrine indeed.
Also, there are mutually exclusive claims on both sides of this theological debate, so suggesting that both are true is, in my humble opinion, a lazy approach to Bible study and understanding God’s word rightly.
If an influential group of Christians claims that everyone is born unable to believe the Bible unless God unconditionally picked them before they were born and unilaterally changes their very ontological nature, causing them to believe, and we aren’t convinced that this is established in Scripture, then I think we have an obligation to say something about it. What do you think?

The Calvinism/Arminianism debate has always seemed like a distraction to me. The Bible teaches the major points of both. That they can sometimes appear in tension just means there's something about the way God does things which we don't/can't fully process, which is fine.

@mustardseed63 @3YearLetterman Lacrosse is more macho than the game that the helmet wearing fags play - pretending it’s rugby.

Just found out I was in the news for eating a Pub Sub, and that some Publix stores had extra long lines or online orders only for the past few days 🤩 Hey @Publix let’s talk honorary citizenship.
