@briskeste @P_C400 Hardstuck people just don't care/don't know how to practice effectively. Outside of a few EXTREME edge cases of talent(zoink might be the only person like that in gd history), talent isn't really a thing. Unless you also count motivation as talent

@P_C400 virtually everyone at top levels in all (non-strategy) games had a much faster improvement rate than average, and this rate generally carries over to every game they touch. you see the inverse with hardstuck gold players who can pour 5k hours into a game and still suck

Not a single country using Celsius has ever gone back to Fahrenheit! A lot of Fahrenheit countries did switch over to celsius though, I wonder what this tells us

the fact that most of the world uses celsius is so fucking stupid. it’s objectively terrible ux for humans. zero meaning “water does a thing” is not how anyone experiences temperature. weather is a consumer interface. celsius is an implementation detail that’s actually in prod.

@Doonishsan If you're on zen4/zen5, this is 100% expected and normal. It was designed to run as fast as possible before reaching either the thermal(95c), or power limits(which are usually much higher), you're just putting performance on the table for no real benefit

Managed to fix CPU related issue in BF6. Game was actively FRYING my CPU, hitting 85C in the menu and all the way 95C in game. After tinkering about, it's now only 70C in menu and 80-90C in game. Even GTA 5 and Cyberpunk with RT don't do this to me.

Doggie has been stuck on 80 on grief for 9 months, cuatro was stuck on 80 on flamewall which is debatably harder for 2 days, cuatro is such an underrated player, hope to see this at the #1 spot soon instead of grief

I tried disabling Reflex and capping FPS to improve 1% lows in CS2, but there was a drawback: input lag. I re-enabled Reflex, and the difference is huge. I hated Reflex in CS2 due to its bad implementation, but it works, even though it causes frame pacing. Keep Reflex Enabled.

Just learned that these light bulbs literally only use ~5% of the energy they consume to produce light. The other 95% is wasted as heat. They are legitimately worse than other options and might burn your house down. A very good metaphor for Trump, I guess.
