@swatiatrest I somewhat agree with you though agniveer is a good scheme ! Today if you look you will find that ppl join the army only due to lure of govt job only ! Try and become babu if you can’t then become babu in uniform !

It's funny that the armed forces have to hire Agniveers and schools & colleges have to hire temps because we can't give pension, no money saar, but we can totally recruit 300 extra MPs and pay for bungalows, security, pension, health, etcetc.

The Army lost its moral ascendency on Police when it let Sumedh Singh Saini get away with the ill-treatment of a CMP Lt Colonel in Chandigarh while Saini was mere SSP. The then Army Commander and Chief of Staff are to be blamed. The next downfall was in Colonel Bath’s case when Patiala Police was allowed to get away after thrashing a full Colonel. Now repent at leisure.
