@dean_longstaff You've got to these days because if you get caught you get arrested.

@MemoFifi @SheldonMiller 42 teams is nothing. There are 5,000+ clubs in England alone.
English

@SheldonMiller I don’t think the World Cup is doable for a country like England anymore. Maybe not even the UK, or even the UK + the Republic of Ireland.
With 42 teams, and FIFA’s ridiculous stadium size requirements, it just won’t be that simple.
English

The fact England hasn’t been selected to stage the World Cup since 1966 is (literally) criminal.
There is not a country on the planet that has a higher volume, value, quality and concentration of World class stadiums, grounds, training facilities, infrastructure, diverse community, culture, history, hospitality and overall fan fever pitch to host the World’s beautiful game.
Due to the FIFA continental host rules we probably can’t expect earlier than a 2042 window. If that’s the case we should go ALL IN for 2042.
A joint England, Wales, Scotland & Ireland bid.
Jesus wept, I’ll be 67. Guess the best things come to those who wait 😬😬😬

The funniest part of this video is that he claims it's been cut at "very accurate right angles," then proceeds to show a series of angles that are very clearly not right angles.

Right here at Puma Punku, I'm looking at a block of granite with corners so precise and a surface so completely flat and smooth that there is simply no hand tool explanation for how this was done. What really stops me in my tracks are these drill holes...

@RinoTheBouncer Dino Crisis. Parasite Eve. Fatal Frame. Resident Evil 3.

@christianqp27 @priyatonin I don't think the heat will be a big deal, they're all world-class athletes who play throughout europe every season.
English

@priyatonin Norway’s first World Cup since ‘88. That makes a huge difference. Senegal are used to World Cups playing in that heat won’t affect them. I have Senegal to finish 2nd in all of my bets
English

senegal literally won afcon how are you giving them a lesser chance than norway

@WereAllWeds1867 @kr62209 @swfc I remember his seeing his name in the little Playfair Football Annuals I used to get.
English

Come on then. A #swfc challenge.
Name the most random @swfc player you can think of that played for the first team from 1990 to 2020.
Let’s see what best answers we can get….

@uktruth2025 @KonstantinKisin You’ve already made that point, and my response is the same: the hostility isn’t caused by rhetoric. It comes from years of political inaction.
English

@quench1985 @KonstantinKisin People absolutely have the right to be angry about crime, policing failures or immigration pressures.
But there’s a difference between demanding action and constantly escalating rhetoric into hostility, grievance and social division.

English

@uktruth2025 @KonstantinKisin I think any anger and hostility comes from one side turning a blind eye to the problems. It's logical that if you think someone can't hear you, you shout louder.
English

@quench1985 @KonstantinKisin There’s a difference between “something will be done” and constantly framing
society as betrayal, invasion and collapse.
You can address problems without whipping people into permanent anger and hostility.

English

@uktruth2025 @KonstantinKisin I disagree, I think it reassures people that something is going to be done about the problems once he's voted into office. If everyone took the PM's stance, and said nothing, I think that would cause problems.
English

@quench1985 @KonstantinKisin People can discuss immigration, crime, policing failures and grooming scandals perfectly legitimately.
The point is that constantly framing politics through “traitors”, “invasions” and “rage” escalates division rather than solving any of those problems.

@TreborRhurbarb It's similar to asking which domestic leagues 2nd-tier is the highest quality. I'd say EFL Championship, so I'd say England would win that World Cup.
