@combatmedic I'm in the soda faction...mostly.
My biggest goal is caffeine. If it's cold or all that's around is coffee, I'll go for that. But soda is my first choice.

@aspiringpeasant It's absolutely maddening that so many conservatives can't see that paying for social programs like education IS the conservative choice.
Spend the money to feed kids and keep them educated, it's cheaper than paying for them as they fall through the cracks later.

We homeschool, but I very much want my tax dollars paying for public schools.
They're already strapped, and there is no societal benefit from impoverishing schools.
We need everyone educated.

Trump could have just gone ahead and fired Bondi while blaming the whole Epstein debacle on her. Instead he took us to war as a distraction, the market she bragged about being over 50k is down almost 5k, gas is up over $1 a gallon and we have a couple handfuls of dead soldiers.

As the community note points out, he's clearly wrong about this. The big hook for school children was that a teacher (Christa McAuliffe) was going in to space. Millions of schoolchildren, myself included, had that AV cart wheeled in to watch it live.

SCOOP: Trump will sign an executive order at 5pm, cracking down on mail-in voting across the country, @DailyCaller has learned. The executive order will require the admin to create a list of confirmed U.S. citizens who are eligible to vote in each state. It will also mandate that absentee ballots only be sent to those on each state's approved mail-in ballot list. Ballots will now have specific secure envelopes, with unique barcodes for tracking. States who disobey the order may lose federal funds under the presidential action.
