The first edition of #Marx’s “Economic & Philosophic Manuscripts of 1844” came out 90 years ago. This text became one of the main point of dispute between Soviet & Western Marxism. Were there an early Marx and a mature Marx? Or an author whose ideas remained always the same? An unfounded counterposition of Marx’s early writings to his later critique of political economy was shared by "revisionists" and "orthodoxes". They both contributed to one of the main misunderstandings of Marxism: the myth of the "Young Marx".
