@PatBookworm @BBCRadioStoke I am sorry to hear that. automatic invites are every 3 years ages 50 to 70. Over 70’s can call and make an appointment it must be more than 3 years since the last one. If you have a specific worry then see your GP who will refer you to a specialist within 2 weeks.

It's hoped more women in North #Staffordshire will attend their breast cancer screening appointment as a unit's set up on a supermarket car park in #Newcastle . The NHS unit's at the Aldi on Godwin Way in Trent Vale until July and will see its first patients today.

Let’s just hope the NHS copes with this wave.

When people who have refused to be vaccinated are admitted to hospital with Covid, do they also refuse all other treatments based on knowledge gained in the last two years because they are ‘too new’ and they want to wait for more evidence? Genuinely interested in the answers.

Visited breast imaging team with our new Director if Comms. They were training on the very latest imaging equipment which will help in clinical decision-making and support patients in the care they need. On my visit we saw just how this worked using a aubergine!
