@DylanRevisited ASOBD is easily one of my favorite albums. Iโm surprised itโs not more popular these days. Hopefully it prevails!

Another Side of Bob Dylan is currently languishing in fourth place in Group A.
Will you help save it from facing elimination from the #BobDylanWorldCup?

@v4mpbaez Itโs actually from the same day of the photoshoot I linked below! :-)
I think there might be more pictures of the coat on the 2nd picture, too. She loved that one in 1966-67.

@silksofbohemia i never realized it was the same one! she has such a lovely sense of style

@v4mpbaez Here are a few more pictures/HD pictures of that first blazer. Itโs corduroy as well, and Iโm about 95% sure she rewore it a few times. Itโs beautiful!

@ReverendRunt Iโve always felt that blue looks amazing on her, especially that turquoise shade. It flatters her skintone so well. She looks so radiant!

@DavidAyer @rayfp Iโm not dubious of them, Iโm just surprised. I wasnโt really keeping up with his setlists last year, though I heard he brought back a lot of crowd favorites last summer. Iโm happy heโs performing them, itโs just unfortunate I wonโt be there to hear them

@_Useless_Tree_ I understand what youโre hinting at here, but I still disagree that this is what Joan wanted or was aiming at. The explanation is here in these interviews and in so many others where she discusses this film. She is a victim, yes, but thatโs not all she is.
English

@_Useless_Tree_ Because she found this footage, unearthed these memories, and felt like it was time to reveal her truth and speak about her life in her own words with a new documentary. Because she can do that after so many years.
English

@_Useless_Tree_ Why did she do it? Simply because she felt like offering fans an insight on who she truly is as a personโnot a myth, not a saint, but a person. This is something I note in this thread. She wanted to, yes, but thatโs the reason for it and it is an answer.
English

@_Useless_Tree_ If your understanding of this film is โJoan wanting in on the victimhood trendโ then you watched this with your eyes closed. There is no trend, she didnโt gain much from this documentary. Albert Baez is still very respected and people donโt acknowledge the documentary.
English

@_Useless_Tree_ ill of your parents in that period, especially in Mexican culture. Youโre basically crucified if you do so, and he was a renowned physicist. She never wanted to affect his legacy and career. He even acknowledged their broken relationship towards the end.
English

@fujonimitchell It was so refreshing to see someone be so candid about their life, even in their later years, which is so rare. Itโs a really honest documentary, I prefer it to the typical ones if Iโm being honest!
English

@fujonimitchell Yes!! Thereโs simply no need for her to make another one that regurgitates the same information. Thatโs how we end up with musicians who have 500 identical documentaries. I was truly excited about this one when it was announced, having already watched the first -
English

@ReverendRunt Iโll take this as a recommendation, thank you!! Iโll try to watch it one of these days, it looks amazing. I love your username!
English

@silksofbohemia Itโs this character in the film Barry Lyndon. You should see it, he such a character ๐ญ
