@Davestwwet @SecVetAffairs Right?! I still have benefits but it’s “expired”
English

@SecVetAffairs Eliminate the expiration date! Should never expire until all money has been used!

Millions of Veterans may now qualify for additional benefits under both the Montgomery and Post 9-11 GI Bills. We’re cutting red tape and putting Veterans first.

Over the next month I will be working tirelessly to transition the office of Attorney General to the amazing Todd Blanche before moving to an important private sector role I am thrilled about, and where I will continue fighting for President Trump and this Administration.
Leading President Trump’s historic and highly successful efforts to make America safer and more secure has been the honor of a lifetime, and easily the most consequential first year of the Department of Justice in American history.
Since February 2025, we have secured the lowest murder rate in 125 years, secured first-ever terrorism convictions against members of Antifa, shattered domestic and transnational gangs across the country, taken custody of more than 90 key cartel figures, and won 24 favorable rulings at the Supreme Court.
I remain eternally grateful for the trust that President Trump placed in me to Make America Safe Again.

As a Registered Nurse and Combat Veteran, I do multiple questions for you regarding this issue.
What metric are you using to determine if a Veteran needs VA benefits? What are the criteria to determine ethical validation? Are you a healthcare professional who can conduct assessments and diagnoses?
The system is there for those who have service-connected injuries. You don’t get to build your own straw-man argument and tear it down by saying the system is there for those who need it, not for those who want it. You don’t get to create a false dilemma. The system is not there for those who need it and not there for those who want it. The system is there to compensate for earned benefits related to service-connected ailments. The VA does not base claims on the character or motives of the Veteran. The VA bases its claims on scientific, evidence-based research of those impairments.
Define fraud so we have a better understanding of the term and the context surrounding it. Define it how the VA defines it. Your subjective definition of fraud is irrelevant.
What constitutes a real issue? A nurse can assess a real issue, and a doctor can diagnose a real medical issue. So what constitutes a real issue to you? And what evidence-based practice are you applying to your definition of a real issue?
You don’t have power anymore over any subordinates. You don’t get to decide if that Navy dude has issues or not. You are not capable of assessing a patient or diagnosing a patient. You are out of your scope of practice. If a nurse assessed his issue, then that nurse made recommendations to the provider. The provider did his assessment and diagnosed him. Why? Because that is within his scope of practice, not yours. Do I think it is silly of him to do that? Perhaps. But he signed the dotted line, and the Navy was responsible for his well-being. The medical records are there. The assessment is there. The diagnosis is there. Nothing you can do about it.
The concepts you outlined are solely based on your subjective interpretation of the situation and your own bias. They are not rooted in evidence-based research, nor are they coming from an expert in the field.
Should I apply the same ethical and moral standard to GI Bill benefits? The same ethics and morality must be applied across the board for the logic to stand. So what are the criteria for ethics and morality—according to you? Define it.
Do you ethically and morally feel you are in a position to assess and diagnose a person’s condition when you have no authority in the field to do so? Do we allow random people to make diagnoses and decide their care plans when they have no authority in the field?
Not pursuing VA benefits does not make you better than those pursuing them. It’s not a gold coin you get to parade around. It means nothing—just like your opinion on the matter, medically speaking.
English

Just because you can collect VA benefits doesn’t mean you should.
The visceral reaction some will have to this statement underscores why the VA system is so broken.
Finding a way to get the VA to sign your paperwork doesn’t make your benefits ethical or moral if you know you shouldn’t have them (or know you don’t need them).
Fraud is both a legal and ethical question.
The system is there for those who need it, not those who want it.
While normies slog through years of BS to get compensation for real issues, the gray market “consultants” get bogus ratings for thousands of others.
Sure, it may not flag on an audit for illegality, but it’s still unethical and immoral. (And also still fraud).
The military is at it best when troops act with the highest integrity in all things, it’s very sad to see we’ve been debased to mere legalese as we decide who will receive our finite resources for disabled veterans.
To put it more bluntly, you should be embarrassed to show your face in public if you did two years in the Navy reserve and are collecting disability for “anxiety.” I don’t care if the VA said yes, if that’s the totality of your chart, what you’re doing is unethical and immoral.
I guarantee you there will be many who cannot even comprehend the concepts I’ve outlined here. To them the VA is just an infinite free money machine and they’re going to take as much as possible even if they know deep down they don’t really rate it or they don’t really need it.
Many haven’t even considered the ethical and moral component of their decision on whether or not to pursue these benefits.
For the record I am entitled to VA disability benefits but have never pursued a VA disability rating…mainly for the reasons I’ve outline above.

A married couple revealed their government checks. “$142,000 a year.” From disability. $4,700 a month for her. $7,200 a month for him. What does it say about the system when they’re making more doing nothing than the taxpayers working to fund it.
English

@MomAngtrades Which one do you want to deal with first?
VA disability benefits: $195 billion
Improper welfare payments (Medicaid/SNAP/EITC/SSI): ~$70 billion
Nationwide net cost of subsidies/services for illegal immigrants: $150.7 billion
English

@DoNotComply23 Let’s compare - which one do we fix first?
VA disability benefits: $195 billion
Improper welfare payments (Medicaid/SNAP/EITC/SSI): ~$70 billion
Nationwide net cost of subsidies/services for illegal immigrants: $150.7 billion
English

Yes, some veterans commit fraud on the system, it’s not perfect.
But to say you MUST serve in combat to get the compensation disregards the injuries we sustained in training, which is extremely common! Soldiers even DIE in training. Thats how hard and dangerous it can be.
Angie G@MomAngtrades
Military Disability fraud is rampant. You can claim erectile dysfunction and get a check, as it’s a recognized disability. I’m sorry, but unless you served in combat, you shouldn’t get disability.

@sukshbhav @TreyYingst How many civilians has Netanyahu killed?

@RaltsAuthor @zacharyebell @Fat_Electrician @sircalebhammer Bitch needs to sign on the line and raise his right hand, or shut the fuck up.
Do some pushups Caleb!!

Can someone connect me and the @Fat_Electrician to @sircalebhammer?
We need to actually talk this out and have a legitimate conversation about what VA disability is and the reality of it.

I am so grateful and humbled by your support. We’re running full steam ahead, but we need your help. Chip in any amount to my campaign today: secure.actblue.com/donate/jc-d2d-…

@Woman4W @oliviakrolczyk_ She already threw her money away…..or her parent’s money
English

@oliviakrolczyk_ It's absolutely a flex that she's well-educated and her parents love her & don't have her throwing her money away on rent that doesn't build equity while she establishes herself to start her career climb and afford a big beautiful house with all the money she didn't waste.

MSDNC quietly admitted why Susie Wiles was attacked with a HIT PIECE from Vanity Fair.
"The other thing is that she, I think, is giving this White House a sense of cohesion."
Translation: We know Susie is a key member of Trump's cabinet and are willing to take everything she says to twist it for our narratives.
They have FAILED at trying to take out every other member of Trump's cabinet, and Susie is just the newest target.
These people are so predictable it's PATHETIC.

@Mappy6984 Definitely used some body filler somewhere on that face

@sciencegirl Too busy in the military and starting my life. Sunshine and fun with friends.
English

@garysavage1 @Bitcoin_Teddy It’s like these MF’s never heard of roommates!!!! Had many friends with 3 bedrooms houses all kicking in on rent. As time goes and you get to a good level of income to move on, then they did.
English

Well to begin with you are grossly exaggerating some of your expenses. Rent is probably correct. You need a room mate.
Electricity is in the ballpark. Again you need a roommate.
No way water costs more than $40 a month.
No way internet costs more than $60 a month.
No way car insurance costs $130 a month unless you bought a car far outside you income. If you did...that was stupid.
Most of your problems are solved by a roommate which is what most young people do starting out in life.
Next be the best employee at your company so you get promoted quickly. Or start your own business where your income is unlimited.
