I have prayed multiple times a day this week… I pray for peace in my heart, for guidance, for understanding, and for acceptance... I pray for my family, for friends, and for her… I know it’s only been a few days of trying so I’m not expecting anything yet… But the lack of response does make it feel like being punished for rejecting him for so long in my life…

On this note, another example, even if we don’t do something “wrong”. Let’s say we have a family member die unexpectedly, he causes us pain and suffering to challenge us so that we may learn from it. Another “lesson” through pain and suffering I.e. punishment?

So a lot have commented that god doesn’t “punish”. So I have a honest question for you to better understand that. When you discipline a child for doing something wrong, that is both a “punishment” and a “lesson” for them to learn right from wrong, good from bad etc. If we are all Gods children, is it not the same thing when we do wrong and feel pain, suffering etc? Is he not “teaching” us our lesson by discipline in a way? Therefore “punishment”? Discuss.

FML… I’m crashing out so fucking bad right now… I literally broke down during my workout this morning… I honestly have no idea what to do.. I have no one.. I barely speak to the family I have.. I have no friends… my own fear and insecurities caused me to push away the only woman I ever truly loved and now she won’t give me the time of day… It’s like my soul has been torn to shreds.. I know it’s my own fault I own that… I know that I have to persevere and push through it but I have no idea if I can…

So long shot but this is for any of my Fitness X homeboys or homegirls. Do any of yall live in New York City? My wife and teenagers are flying into NYC in the morning and flying out on Sunday morning…without me because of work. No way I could get away from job duties and the money is nonrefundable.
