What a list of 10 best games ever made! Obviously voted by a different generation, with no mention of Halo, Mario or even Tetris.
This got me thinking about my top 10 games ever made, so here's mine and please share your list too, if it differs from ScreenRant's list...
My Top 10 Games Ever Made
1. Bruce Lee - Commodire 64. Plain and simple, number 1 in my life.
2. Pool of Radiance - Commodore 64. I spent hundreds of hours playing this game.
3. Defender of the Crown - Commodore 64. The in-store demo blew my mind, vusually stunning...and hard.
4. Halo - XBox. Surprise! The only reason I purchased an XBox...this game is legendary, hooking up multiple XBoxes and CRT TVs and playing all night.
5. Worms - Commodore Amiga. The only time boasting 'I've got worms' to your friends was cool. Hilarious Chaos with mates!
6. Lemmings - Commodore Amiga. Nuking little green haired dudes has never been so much fun.
7. Golden Eye - Nintendo 64. My best mate and I played death matches for 6 months. So much fun, and prepared me for Halo.
8. Space Invaders - Arcade. In the local diary (corner store) playing this started my love of gaming.
9. Pirates! - Commodore 64. I just love this game, simple concept... do what pieates do, huge playing area, super challenging.
10. Tetris - Everything. I thought hard about this last slot, and I have played this on almost every system I can think of. A great time filler, ageless game and worthy of a space in the top 10.
That's my list, some may feel it is rubbish, some may agree with parts of the list, but now is the time for you to share your list.

@TheRetroSlayer You absolutely have to try Enduro ASAP!! 😊
This game is so addictive, plus it's beautiful; you see the seasons change and the night sky...
English

@superactimore I never owned Enduro but I did have Night Driver and transitioned to Pole Position when it came out. I remember being blown away by the graphics.
English

Pole Position - Atari 2600 (1983) brought the blistering speed of the arcade straight into the living room. Before this racer hit the scene, home console driving games were predominantly flat, top-down affairs lacking any real sense of velocity. Pole Position changed the landscape by throwing players directly behind the car and delivering a gripping pseudo-3D perspective that rocked.
The engine revs high at the starting line of the iconic Fuji Speedway. Success requires mastering a qualifying lap just to secure a spot in the Grand Prix. Once the real race begins, every tight corner and passing rival becomes a high-stakes test of reflexes. Pushing the pedal to the metal means balancing absolute top speeds with the ever-present danger of a fiery collision 🏎️.
The legacy left behind by this heavy little cartridge shaped the entire future of the racing genre. It established the chase camera angle that became the golden standard for decades of driving simulators. Every modern digital track traces its roots back to those bright green grass borders and scaling roadside billboards 🏁. Crossing the finish line remains one of the greatest thrills of the early console era.

@TheRetroSlayer Demolition Herby was already a great game back then, a friend of mine had it, he would lend me the cartridge from time to time...☺️
English

@superactimore It’s a neat little subgenre of games. I really like Demolition Herby on the 2600. Its along the same style. I’d imagine some of the inspiration for Amidar was Qix.
