@GBass04 @ruffydfire @Chiefzamzam The body language of the INEC chairman seems like they don’t want anyone to vote in 2027. Its like they already have the election result they want to announce. But Nigerians must resist them.

This is the kind of issue that should worry every serious democracy. If voter registration windows are narrow, poorly communicated, or the portal keeps shutting people out without clear explanation, the result is the same: disenfranchisement. Not everyone being excluded is being “targeted” individually, but a weak, inconsistent system can still produce a politically skewed outcome. INEC must understand that in an environment with low trust, opacity itself becomes a problem. If they want public confidence in 2027, registration and capture must be transparent, accessible, and impossible to manipulate quietly.

Message sent to me Good Evening, I always watch Arise TV and admire your drive to speak truth to the government of the day to make Nigeria work for all. I am also a responsible citizen and would be a happier Nigerian the day I begin to see a better Nigeria. Please, I would like to draw your attention to what I just observed, which I believe is a plot by INEC to disenfranchise people from voting and ensure that the 2027 election goes in favour of the current ruling party. If you possibly can look into it and bring it up to the media space to possibly get INEC to do the right thing. Please, I would like to be anonymous. Since around December, 2025, after it was now obvious that we have a party (ADC) that could still be considered an opposition to the current terrible government of the day (APC), I decided to register with INEC so I could vote in 2027. I visited the INEC registration website, created my application, but have not been able to schedule a date to be captured so I can get a voter's card to enable me to vote. On the portal where I am to make the schedule, it kept showing me that the scheduling period ended sometime around August, 2025, which means that I cannot get a Voter's card, I cannot join the party of my choice (ADC), and ultimately, I cannot vote by 2027. I have kept on visiting the portal at least two to three times within a week to see maybe it would be opened up and I get to complete the registration process, but nothing positive. Then, sometimes last week, when it was obvious that INEC would be proceeding with a nationwide revalidation process, I felt it would be an opportunity for me to complete the registration, I started visiting the scheduling portal every day but then it kept showing me that scheduling period has ended as usual only for me to check today 5th April, 2026 to see that the scheduling period is between Jan 5th 2026 to April 2nd 2026, as I have screenshotted and attached in this mail and yet I have not been enabled on the portal to schedule a date for capturing. This made me start wondering why all this time, I have not been allowed by the INEC's portal to schedule a date for capturing, so I can finalize the registration, get a voter's card, and be able to vote. Could it be that I have been profiled and identified by the INEC system as a prospecting opposition, hence the reason to ensure that I am disenfranchised? John

VIDEO EVIDENCE! So, there appears to be a new “golden rule.” Before the “Honourable” Minister of Works, Dave Umahi, lays a single block or concrete for construction, he must first sing the “On Your Mandate” ritual anthem. I think the worst has yet to come!✍️
Obiasogu David@afrisagacity

I saw a VIDEO of Minister Dave Umahi singing “On Your Mandate” at a construction site. So, before laying a block of any construction, they’ll sing praises and worship the emperor first? Is this a mere case of fulsome praise or has it become a display mental derang£ment?✍️

Why… why does it have to be like this, especially on a day meant for life, for hope, for resurrection On this very day of Easter, when we are meant to celebrate victory over death, the sound of grief rises again from Mbalom, from Gwer East, from the hearts of innocent people whose only desire is to live in peace Seventeen lives… and still counting Families torn apart Homes reduced to ashes Voices silenced Children missing Mothers crying into the night What kind of pain is this that refuses to end What kind of darkness keeps chasing light even on a holy day like this Oh God, where are the answers Why must your children keep suffering like this Why must blood speak louder than prayers in our land My heart is heavy beyond words I weep for every life lost I ache for every mother who will not see her child again I mourn for every family left in silence and fear Lord, please receive the souls of the departed into Your eternal peace Wipe the tears of Your people Comfort the brokenhearted And let Your justice rise, because this pain is too much for human hearts to carry On this Easter day, instead of songs of joy, we cry Instead of celebration, we mourn But even in this darkness, we hold on to You, Lord Because You are the only hope we have left May Your light find Mbalom May Your peace find Benue And may this suffering not be in vain Amen 💔

Myself and 3 other Nigerians have been unlawfully detained in Johannesburg airport for literally doing nothing, papers complete, visa valid and they literally just singled us out of the crowd for nothing, and onenof us's phone has been seized all day and hasn't been allowed to reach out to anyone. They are trying to take my own phone now, so I am putting this out so that the world knows that if anything happens to us, south Africa should be held responsible, please repost and tag the authorities concerned.. They are saying that they will detain us for no reason until God knows when. We are telling them that we want to book another flight back home immediately and they are refusing that. @abikedabiri @PoojaMedia @instablog9ja

@monsieur_avril There was a day when I wanted to board a commercial bus. I spotted a CNG cylinder under one of its seats and disembarked immediately. If Boko Haram bombs didn’t kill me in Zamfara, why should I die in a CNG explosion in Lagos?

@monsieur_avril I entered a bus few weeks back. Immediate I sighted the CNG tank, I jejely came down. I'll rather walk than take such risk in a country with no functional emergency services.

A man was protesting when Ghanaian President, John Mahama, was speaking at an event. He paused and recognized the protester. He said, “Ghana is a land of free speech. He has the right to protest.” I’m wondering if such will ever happen with Emperor Tinubu!✍️

@iamonomen @Iameziokwu You didn't get it. They got everything on a platter of gold as kids before growing up to adults to fight for political positions. Enjoyed free education, free meal, ready employments, etc. At least they should let the current generation kids enjoy what they enjoyed as kids.

@Iameziokwu Whoever wants something fights for it. Politics is not an activity where anyone gives you opportunity, you must move to get a position. Those people did a lot during their time, how many youths can say they did any struggle or fight to get a political position?

This guy was the most dangerous out of all of them. He pointed a gun at me and kept threatening me like my life meant nothing. He’s the same one that hit me with the gun, shocked my body, beat me, and even slapped me from behind when I didn’t see it coming. Out of everyone there, he was the most aggressive. The most dangerous. He needs to be stopped!!! He is evil!!! @PoliceNG @PoliceNG_CRU

I really hope this video goes viral and the Nigeria Police Force sees this and does something about it. This happened in Abulado, Lagos. Me and my guy @ehispascal were on a bike when four officers stopped us. We came down peacefully, no issues at all. One officer was talking to me, another to my guy. Everything was calm. They were asking questions and we answered calmly because we had nothing to hide. They asked me to open my phone, and I didn’t hesitate because I didn’t want any problem. Suddenly, out of nowhere, one man came from behind and slapped me. Even the officer checking my phone was shocked and asked what just happened. At that moment, I didn’t even know he was a police officer because he wasn’t in uniform. Out of anger, I reacted and slapped him back and even tried to confront him. That’s when the others held me and told me he was an officer. That’s when I realized everything was already planned. Next thing, all of them started beating us. It was bad. My guy’s face even got swollen. They then threatened to take us to the station. I told them no problem, let’s go, but the officer who slapped me must come along too. I told them when we get to the station, they would know who my father is. They kept asking for his name, but I refused and said they would find out at the station. That’s when they got scared. Instead of taking us to the station, they drove us to a bridge, dropped us there, and told us to go.
