ZAXXON ARCADE for Atari 2600 (by Champ Games, demo_v2 NTSC).
New unofficial port of the original Sega isometric shooter released for arcade in the 80s. Very fast, playable and challenging, tested/recorded on Stella-7.0c (not using scanlines, that's possibly a built-in trick to reach this diagonal scrolling).

The 8BitDo Arcade Stick returns in a new purple finish, now featuring a glass panel—delivering the same precision, stability, and tournament-ready control, wrapped in a sharper visual identity for the charismatic ones.
Same fight. New presence.

Eighting's Battle Bakraid was released in 1999, when arcades were increasingly focused on fighting games and 3D graphics. Instead of chasing trends, it doubled down on dense mechanics and hidden systems, becoming one of the deepest score-chasing shooters ever made.
@SuperSisi I had one back in the day, sold it off 20 years ago. Bought brand new on a fire sale after it failed. It was... interesting. That's about it.
@shenkay@LeyendaBoy Thor is pocketable and has dual screens. I also have a Steam Deck OLED and use my Thor way more. Comparing big handhelds like the Deck and ROG to Thor is like comparing an 18 wheeler to a motorcycle and acting like they are the same thing because they both have wheels.
@LeyendaBoy Por ese precio mejor ahorro 100$ mas y me compro la Rog o la steam deck de segunda y tendre 3 veces la potencia.
Cuando cueste entre 100 a 150$, ahi se puede decir que vale la pena
@cskiles That is just crazy for some licensed ROM's on a memory card. As a longtime emulation user I don't get what people see in the Evercade stuff, but to each their own.
I've got PICO-8 emulation on the NES somewhat working.
This could bring thousands of games to the NES library, expanding it by over 10x.
The folks making those chinese NES-on-a-chip consoles are gonna love this.
@datboijuiceTV I really like the purple version. But, I saw someone say it smudges a lot compared to silver or gold. Do you notice the purple getting very smudgy?
Kong Off prep progress and Arcade competition set up.
Great job as always from many people including @DennisEdmunds and Mr Rygar.

The latest @Haute42_ controller might be a game changer!
It’s thin and a good weight and they improved on their joystick a lot
Love how portable it’s going to be for traveling

All the comments I get telling me I’m “lying” about free CRT’s are frustrating. Literally EVERY TIME I go to my transfer station, I find CRT’s that work perfectly. Sometimes other great old electronics too.
@FreeYouZhi@hyp36rmax CPU speed isn’t right, input doesn’t work, sound is missing—in short, there are still many issues. The only good news is that the ARM946E-S still works.
Metamoqester asks a simple question: what if a beat 'em up let you transform into almost every enemy you defeated? Released by Banpresto in 1995, it remains one of the most inventive twists on the genre, yet it rarely gets mentioned alongside the arcade greats.
