@spicy110sm Probably the best way of visualising eccentricity, the red being a very circular orbit and the pink a very eccentric one

@spicy110sm It's orbit will be getting more and more eccentric as time goes on, the perigee will get lower on each orbit as it skims the atmosphere until it eventually drops too low and completely re-enters

No but seriously, why DON’T we have any new Murray Gold releases for Doctor Who? The music used to be such a key part of engagement with the show. Almost all other modern popular TV/film projects get a soundtrack album on Spotify - feels like a HUGE oversight from RTD and crew.

A OST release is the standard for a show of this calibre, not only that but in nearly *8 years* since S10 Gold has made empty promises time after time to release it's soundtrack, it's disrespectful at this point. Segun got his music out days after transmission.

@DanJamesFrank Murray is a busy man. There are no rights issues, and physical sales don't factor into this. Yes, the leaks were disheartening. But you're not *entitled* to his music ("None of this is good enough"?? 🤨). That said, you're right – it's a HUGE missed opportunity.

@techandtrains Please tell me he’s since amended this take? There’s no way Murray Gold watches a film or a series with a good soundtrack and NEVER wants to hear that audio isolated. Surely if you’re a professional composer and you’re passionate about what you do that’s just your whole thing?

@darrenvs650 @TfL I think these e-motorcycles are a perfectly valid form of transport and are a great way to get cars/scooters off our streets. The sooner we legislate to allow them with caveats, the sooner the free for all will end and people will be able to buy decent ones that don't blow up.

@darrenvs650 @TfL I'm well aware, I say that in the thread. It's regrettable that the dodgy ones outnumber decent ones fiftyfold on the Tube. Delivery riders bring them into central London for work and want bikes without the 15mph cap/pedal assist only restriction

An E-bike burst into flames on the Northern end of the Met line today, had this happened in a tunnel it could have been catastrophic. E-scooters and e-unicycles are banned on TfL services but e-bikes are still not. They are just as dangerous, @TfL needs to act now and ban them.

FWIW, I'm massively in favour of personal light electrical transport. This problem has been caused by legislation failing to move with the times. The sooner the law catches up, the sooner buyers will be able to get products with quality batteries that don't blow up.

What's REALLY concerning is the amount I'm seeing on individual carriages where the owners have locked them to the grab rails and then gone to sit elsewhere, one of these going up in flames underground would be catastrophic, even worse if there's another bike directly next to it.

@SMWilco159 @TfL I think the current set up of Tube rules is reasonable. -Folding bikes allowed anywhere any time. -Non folding bikes are banned from deep level tunnels at all times and from all trains during peak hours. The problem really is with these e-bikes mainly used by delivery drivers.

@mtbscotland1 @TfL Not road legal Vs illegal Two different things. Because the government has been so bad at moving with the times on e-bike legislation all you can get from a reputable retailer is a 15mph assist only bike, people opt for dodgy imports/conversions with terrible quality batteries.

I really think @TfL needs to ban delivery riders bringing these non road legal electric motorcycles/e-bikes on their services before one inevitably bursts into flames. Seeing 4+ cluttering up a single carriage these days, sometimes even locked to the grab rails. Unacceptable.
