@Michael15649622 @mikevlach Not necessarily. The Abrahamic Covenant includes blessings for all the families of the earth, and land promises to his descendents. Getting access to the blessings doesn't mean every blessing is for you. Getting on Santa's nice list doesn't mean I get Sally's present, too.

@mikevlach @testing521 My only issue with the above: if the tree represents the blessings of the Abrahamic covenant, wouldn’t that also include the “grafted in” Gentiles in the Land Promise to Abraham? (Which wouldn’t fit)

Two things I think about dispensationalism: 1. It is wrong. 2. It has become a boogeyman for the Carlsonites in an "everything in the middle east I don't like is dispensationalism" kind of way

I'm actually a premillennial dispensationalist However, because of the acts of premillennial dispensationalist Christians, and the wicked acts of other foreign nations they endorse, I am starting to reconsider my eschatological views Am I the only one?

@RevReads289 The benefit is that it tends to clarify where the disagreement lies. If I construct a valid syllogism, then it focuses the subsequent conversation around the key premise. Without them, it is sometimes difficult to keep the conversation on topic.

I don't think I've ever seen someone share a syllogism online, and the response was "that's sound reasoning. I follow that." The response is almost always: There is a problem with one of your premises. Or Your conclusion doesn't follow from those...

My toxic trait is that I prefer to watch the intro to each episode of the show we’re watching.

@DocStrangelove2 Makes himself happy. He’s got no military or law enforcement experience. Has he ever faced a barrelled weapon in anger, or does he just play with targets. As a gunsmith can adjust that trigger pull to empty a revolver quickly, so what. Breaks records zzz 🥱

@IFFFMEISTER It’s Messiah come to save the world—individuals, corporate humanity, creation itself—and a lot of that is tied to the people of Israel being ruled by their unique King, which is what Kurschner means by zionism.
