@Broken_Devotion NOT OK!!!That teacher needs discipline. However, despite agreeing he should get a better teacher, be careful of the slippery slope of too much “path smoothing.” It’s easy to get in the habit of trying to solve all our kids challenges and won’t do them any favors in the long run.

Tell me if I’m overreacting. My 11 year old accidentally knocked a cup over in class a couple of days ago, and his teacher immediately snapped, “Normal kids don’t do stuff like that!!”

@ill_nojie @heyyitsjanea Gym teachers. My 9th grade daughter was taking too long to get dressed for gym in the locker room and the teacher started chasing her. She was in her socks and slipped, breaking her elbow. The teacher wouldn’t believe it was broken and told her it was her own fault.

Similar thing when I went to see a lecture about my missing results and asking him if I could take his exams again. This was just a day after my mum had passed and to put this into context, I’ve been away nursing her at the hospital. This was why I didn’t even know anything about my missing results, talkless of sending a query. This man told me dead ass that I was lying. At that point I couldn’t hold my tears again for the next 6hours.

when my aunt passed i found out in gym during a free day, told my gym teacher, while holding back tears, that my mom was coming to get me because my aunt passed and asked to get my stuff and this lady told me “you wouldn’t have known if you weren’t on the phone” BOY
