@ShubhAgrawal26 @IndiGo6E Did this pattern also creep into the website? I complained to @indigo about this a month ago, on how their app was forcing me to pay to check in, so I checked in on the website.

It's quite frustrating how @IndiGo6E employs this dark UI pattern . When you try to check in for a flight, they indicate that all free seats are sold out and only allow you to check in early if you pay for a seat. In the past, you could be assigned a random seat, but that option is no longer available. Now, you either have to pay for a seat, or if you choose to proceed without paying, it simply prompts you with "Hey, select a seat now," without offering a free seat option. It's disappointing to see this kind of behavior from a company, and I honestly don't understand how it's legal. @DGCAIndia is this legal?

Just in case Gen Z is trying to understand what happened today: Claude was mogging OpenAI for weeks. Then this gymcel dev ships Clawdbot which was the fastest growing OSS thing ever, absolute looksmax for the whole ecosystem. Anthropic tries to dairygoon him with legal. Dev renames to OpenClaw. OpenAI slides in like a foid-pulling Chad with acquisition interest. OpenClaw gets acquired by OpenAI. Now Anthropic is getting jestergooned by the entire timeline and OpenAI is gigamaxing off their fumble. Anthropic could've just let him cook. Instead they went full moid and got outframed by the jestermaxxers at OpenAI.

I was trying to check into my flight today and @IndiGo6E app does not let me check in unless I pay for the seats (or did I misinterpret the additional charges being dsplayed)? I had to uninstall the app and check-in on web. Why? Cc: @MoCA_GoI @DCAIndia

@IndiGo6E I'm well informed about the check in progress, but, since when did you start auto allocating seats to paid & and not displaying a skip/deallocate seat assignment on the app? Because I didn't see any skip seat selection on the app whilst I was still shown amount to be paid?

If you wish to opt for a free seat, we can assist you with auto seat assignment, wherein seats are automatically allotted to passengers and the boarding pass is issued approximately 3 hours prior to departure. ~Yash

I vibe-coded my own PDF compression library to replace a commercial library I paid $20K for. After weeks of testing, I ended up rewriting most of it and honestly way better than the so-called "enterprise-grade" thing I bought. Claude code didn't magically build it for me. I still had to read the PDF spec, trace edge cases, and understand every line. The model just gave me a baseline fast enough to iterate. And no, this wasn't a one-shot "prompt -> shipped" fantasy.
