@Shodah10 For some things yes, but for beat saber the claw grip was always a must for them. The near zero input delay with the tracking system is something I still miss to this day though...

Still the best feeling VR controllers I've used to date. Someone should take this design, include finger tracking and put SteamVR sensors inside that ring. I'd buy in a heartbeat.

@DeanoC @anshelsag And even if they were, it'd still have to run in sequence. Render - > dlss - > post process effects - > frame output. I guess frame Gen could run in parallel while the n+2nd frame starts rendering?

@anshelsag They are all part of the same processing unit (the actual core). They aren't independent operating cores, its just marketing to call them cores.

TikTok has done immeasurable damage to the intellectual development in this country. You should almost always never be listening to someone speaking confidently and provocatively on video—the qualities required for going viral there is opposed to actual thought and insight.

Feels like the arguments I’m seeing right now are evidence that a bulk of young people get their understanding of social movements from random accounts on TikTok. And that seems like a terrible way to understand complex social and intellectual struggles.

@FemCondition I'd emphasize that your issues didn't lead them to abuse you. That's 100 percent on them, and you bear no part of the responsibility. The only thing is it made you more vulnerable to them and possibly stay when otherwise you would've realized sooner.

I'm going to say something controversial: I take MY part for being in abusive relationships. The abuser? Absolutely to blame for their actions. Me? I had contributions. I had unhealed wounds. I had my own irrational beliefs. They lead me to abuse and for a part, kept me there. I'm saying this because if I didn't do the work to confront myself, I'd have done it again. You're not to blame, but you are yours to heal.

Finally getting around to doing some real vibe coding for a side project. (BSA Troop web site.) Before, my use of AI was just chatting with ChatGPT and cut and pasting responses. I finally installed copilot and have an agent in the loop that can read the repository and edit files.
