@AuroraIntel I always appreciate how you never just provide only one piece of evidence to clarify your point - regularly dropping the facts like gravity 😉

If I had to take a guess, Trump is not serious with these threats. This is a bluff to force Iran to accept an end to the war And if it works, Trump deserves his flowers for accepting the war didn't go as planned and seeking an off-ramp. Most other Presidents may have doubled down, getting stuck in another forever war

Early to mid 80s games were often solo projects - from game design and concept to programming. One of such games was Paradroid, single-handedly created by Andrew Braybrook. It's a top-down action game with puzzle/strategy elements, with the objective to clear rogue droids from 20+ decks of a massive space freighter. One of the things we take entirely for granted in today's games is multi-directional movement, allowing a player to move and fire freely in all directions. This was absolutely not common in early 80s games. Paradroid features super smooth 8-way scrolling of the playfield, 8-way movement and firing for the player, ramming mechanics, and even basic line-of-sight for some enemy behaviors. This was incredibly impressive in the early C64 era. While being massively successful in Europe (especially in the UK), it failed to gain the same traction and cult status in the United States. I would be curious to know if any US located readers have played Paradroid. If so, let me know.

@Polymarket Moreover, it is not not reciprocal at all. There are many one-sided laws in Canada that mandate French at the expense of English. Extremely hypocritical and unfair! grok.com/share/bGVnYWN5…

Did you know? Road Rash (Mega Drive) was almost canceled because EA management thought a motorcycle game wouldn't sell. It became a massive hit, defined by its "combat racing" where you could kick and punch rivals at 100mph.

IN 45 DAYS, YOU WILL SEE HALLEY’S COMET. Not with a telescope. Not through a screen. With your eyes, from your backyard. Halley’s Comet returns every 76 years. It was last visible in 1986. It will swing through the inner solar system again in May. And this time, it will be an easy naked-eye object. Right now, it is a faint smudge even in telescopes. But as it falls toward the Sun, it will brighten. The coma will grow. The tail will stretch. By mid-May, it will be as bright as the brightest stars. You will find it low in the western sky after sunset. A fuzzy star that does not twinkle. A star that moves noticeably night after night. Edmond Halley predicted this exact return in 1705. He saw the same comet three times in his life. You will see it once. Maybe twice, if you live long enough. Start checking the western horizon in early May. The comet will be waiting. Are you going to watch for it? #HalleysComet #Comet #NightSky #Astronomy #Stargazing #May2026 #SolarSystem #NakedEye

@johnkonrad So now we are important? Here is a better defence, how about Canada and the US work together to develop aligned foreign policies that don't make our shared continent a target. Wouldn't that be a better alternative?

Securing our own continent matters more than securing Europe, Japan, Hormuz, or even Hawaii. In the age of hypersonics and submarines, the northern routes matter most. That means Canada & Alaska are not side theaters. They are MORE important than most of CONUS.
John Ʌ Konrad V tweet media

My favorite reply is, “Why don’t you leave NATO alone and go fix America’s security problems?” I am. Our #1 security problem is sharing a continent with a weak, ungrateful, communist vassal state. Hypersonics fly over the North Pole. Submarines sneak under it. Continental security isn’t a side issue. It IS the issue. Americans need to look at a great circle map. Missiles, subs, and ships don’t travel in straight lines. They arc through Canadian airspace and Canadian territorial waters. Canada isn’t a neighbor. It’s our last chance perimeter. Mexico isn’t our longest border. Canada is. Great Circle Chart 👇👇
