Not caring that one of your members wants to see everyone without two English parents deported is exactly the issue. We learnt to laugh at being called 'racist' because we were obviously not racist. Now there are actual racists being called 'racist' and you're still laughing. That's a problem.

@GolfNut48846224 @RestoreBritain That ol' chestnut. How boring. 🥱 We don't care. Radical problems require strong solutions. Not any of this nonsensicle centrist drivel that we've been mind numbingly stupid enough to blindly follow for decades. Subservient goons nodding along Well, no more. Thanks to restore

Remember; @RestoreBritain political party didn't exist 6 months ago. Now? We're front page news, A household conversation topic & terrifying our political opposition. We are finally giving voters a rightwing patriotic choice as opposed to centrist slop we've endured for decades

This idea that non-voters are going to magically start voting because finally a party is hardcore enough for them is very sketchy. Why didn't they vote for the BNP or National Front back in the day? Realistically, we have no idea if these non-voters are too right wing or left wing for mainstream politics, or if they have no political view at all and will never vote no matter your policies.

It's clear that the reformers can't grasp the concept of Non-voters of the past 30 years. The polls ask previous voters. They don't ask non-voters. So the fact Restore are even hitting 7% is monumental.

I've been through similar in the recent past, so I know how grossly unfair and libellous it can be. Then again, if Martin Sellner (a guy who has admitted to placing swastikas on synagogues) and other people legitimately describable as 'neo-Nazis' were speakers/organisers at this event, then I would say attendance of said event is asking for trouble.

The Daily Mail has attempted to ruin my life. They have called me a 'White supremacist' and a 'Neo Nazi' without evidence, my face with these words on it has been put on the front page of one of the biggest media outlets in Britain, getting seen by millions. They gave me no right to reply nor a heads up that this was coming out. This has completely changed the direction of my life and has already wrecked my work life and public image. If you do want to support me through this struggle here is the link - buymeacoffee.com/angloid

@nigelmp Sums it up really. Beyond party tribalism what makes these people conservative?

I canvassed in Makerfield on Saturday. I came across a large number of Tories who felt that whilst they love Kemi - big thumbs up for her- they feared reform winning so they are voting tactically at this by election for Andy Burnham. They thought Michael Winstanley, the conservative candidate, was outstanding. One said- “ I told myself I would never vote Labour ever again- but I will this time to stop reform. In my 50 years in politics I’ve never seen this phenomenon before.

@MyFilmClips @Kingbingo_ @LordAshcroft Who would you vote for then if not Reform? If Restore didn't exist, there would be no other choice than Reform that wants to crack down on immigration and defend the national interest over woke nonsense.

@captainbudhell1 @nigelmp Reform are stuffed full of ex-tories who pushed through all the stuff Reform hate when they were ministers. The real @Conservatives have stuck with @KemiBadenoch because she it taking us back to being a proper Conservative Party again.

@worldsocionics @W_M_Pitt @Kingbingo_ @LordAshcroft Honestly I think it would give a massive boost to anti-establishment politics. A decent amount of OG reform supporters would quit the party, many of which would end up coming to Restore (or whatever right wing party is available at the time).

The percentage of votes for pro-brexit parties is roughly the same as the percentage of votes for brexit. How many non-voters are people who would vote reliably if a party were further enough to the right? We have no idea how many will never vote at all and how many might prefer the far left.

@worldsocionics @Kingbingo_ @LordAshcroft Politics is split and the ideologies so entrenched that to get ahead you need to bring people back in. Its borderline impossible now to flip people. Its how leave won Brexit

@worldsocionics @W_M_Pitt @Kingbingo_ @LordAshcroft As good as it sounds I think it's unlikely, the Tories are too big of a unit in the party now. If it did happen I'd call for reconciliation between RUK and RB but again I doubt it will happen. I think we're more likely to see RUK merge with the Tories or do a C&S deal/NAP

There are plenty who supported or stood for Reform in 2024 who would say this now because they see the value in a tactical defeat for a strategic win, as long as you only do it once. 5 years of Labour is a heavy cost. A further 5 with the Greens on coalition to boot is too much to bear.

This "I used to be a Restore supporter but..." line for Reform supporters is getting tiresome. We understand that you don't have what it takes. It's fine. You don't have to pretend you do.

I never thought I’d disagree with @RupertLowe10 and @BackBrexitBen, I’ve always respected them and was sad when they left Reform. But if they champion a win for Andy Burnham in Makerfield then they are capable of doing it up and down the country, campaigning not to win, but to just stand in the way of a win for Reform. Restore will not win on this election cycle and Rupert is too old to run at the next election, the Prime Minister you are hoping for will be 77 years old if he ever comes to power. Let’s be sensible and stick with Reform, they have a realistic chance. 👍

This is the rhetoric of someone doubling down in the pursuit of glory even in defeat. If you want enough votes to be credible, those Reform voters who may otherwise vote Restore are your low hanging fruit. It is a mistake to confuse the rapid growth of Restore with the potential to win.

Perhaps the best outcome from this mess with Restore is that it forces Reform to purge itself of diluting influences for the greater good. If they lose Makerfield due to Restore I hope they do this rather than double down, and if they do the former, I really hope Restore abandon their delusional bid for power.

@W_M_Pitt @worldsocionics @Kingbingo_ @LordAshcroft Yes what effect does the current treasury spokesman and a bunch of future cabinet ministers have on party policy? There's already infighting between the ex-Tories and the og-Reform guys, it's literally public knowledge that the influence of the Tory's has corrupted the party

It suits my argument that you wouldn't vote Labour but sure. Point is, Restore is doing nothing to improve the chances of constitutional restoration. It only takes from Reform and those who would otherwise not vote at all. It does nothing to help with beating the parties of national decline.
