My Grandfather received the Légion d’honneur for the part he played on DDay so I find this particularly offensive. Given to the worst PM in history and the most unpatriotic PM we’ve ever had. It’s an insult, he’s an insult

🚨🇫🇷 NEW: Keir Starmer has become the first ever British PM to be awarded the Légion d’honneur President Macron presented Starmer with the award in recognition of his work on security in Europe [@guardian]

They keep telling you Reform is in chaos. But while Westminster obsesses over Reform, another woman has been stabbed to death on the streets of our capital. That’s the real chaos. It’s time we put an end to it!

@peterkyle Please explain giving full details why this is the most significant trade deal that the UK has ever signed. Many people think this statement is incorrect.

@GBNEWS King Charles a large number of the British Population are extremely disappointed in you. The UK is a Christian Country and should remain so full stop. Your submission to the Religon of Islam is embarrassing to watch. Please rethink your future very seriously.

How far will £5 million go in the world of Close Protection? - (CP); A long read... I have worked providing close protection to prominent, or high-net-worth, or vulnerable individuals - the 'Principal'. It is an eye-wateringly expensive business. There is no such thing as perfect security, but those who work in this industry do their very best to keep their Principal safe. They are willing to take a bullet or a blade for those they protect, and need to be paid accordingly. A well-resourced team should have at least ten close protection operatives - (CPOs). Three should travel in the Security Advance Party, (SAP - Vehicle One), four with the Principal, (Vehicle Two),and three in the back-up vehicle. (Vehicle three). Each CPO is highly trained, and preferably experienced. They are all licensed by the Security Industry Authority - (SIA), and will have up-to-date advanced first aid training. Each operative has to be equipped with a state-of-the-art radio, secure mobile phone, and each vehicle must be equipped with a defibrilator and advanced first aid equipment. CPOs will typically work a 12 hour shift, but these shifts are often extended, thereby incurring overtime costs. Alternatively, if the Principal is to have a long day away from their residence, then two full teams may be required to adequately protect them. If the Principal travels widely, then of course their security teams travel with them, thereby incurring hotel bills, flight costs, subsistence expenses etc. These costs are all met by the Principal or their representatives. Residential Security Teams - RST - are also required to provide 24 hour protection to the Principal's main home address whether they are in residence or not. These teams will preferably be supported by at least one general purpose dog handler and his land shark. RSTs should consist of two operatives at the very least. The vehicles these CPOs use should be bullet-proof, bomb-proof, and have other specialist capabilities. They are ludicrously expensive, and sometimes leased. These are the basics. Now onto costs... All teams will invariably be employed by a security company who has the contract with the Principal or their representatives. The company will have many costs - premises, staff, the maintenance of the contract and more, and of course they want to make a profit. In dealing with these costs, I am going to be deliberately conservative. A CPO will be paid at least £300 per day. The company will factor in their costs and consequently charge the Principal £500 per day for each operative. RST operatives will be paid £250 per day. The company will charge the Principal £400 per day for each operative. A dog handler will be paid £300 per day. The usual additonal costing rules apply. So, ten CPOs at £500 per day equals £5,000 per day. Two RST operatives plus a dog handler equals £1,300 per day. Vehicle rental costs x3 equals approx £450 per day. Radio leasing and phone costs equals approx £200 per day. Fuel for 3 vehicles say £60 per day. (They're gas guzzlers!) So, conservative daily costs = £5,000 + £1,300 + £450 + £200 + £60, total = £7,010. £7,010 x 365 = £2,558,650. Please note I have not included any hotel costs, flight expenses, etc, so using my very frugal costing, £5 million quid would provide you with close protection security for two years. You're welcome.

The brutal attack on Ann Widdecombe has deeply unnerved me. It has brought my attention sharply back to when a hostile social media account broadcast the home I stayed at the time on their social media channels, and the police failed to act. Even recently, a left wing blog was allowed to publish details too. I am a mother of a young child. I have a fundamental right to personal privacy and an absolute right to protect my family as a mother. The law must change. It should be a severe criminal offence for any media outlet or online account to publish the home address or private property details of a person in public life. It is time the government and the police woke up to the immediate physical dangers facing public figures before we see more brutal statistics.

Disgraced former Tory MP Harvey Proctor, worked with the Times to publish this disgusting headline. Given what has now come to light, it is in fact HE who has done the thing he accused Nigel of. What a depraved man. He must apologise now.

I voted against Labour’s Immigration Bill tonight. It’s yet another sham. Where’s leaving the ECHR? Where’s blocking every made up legal claim? Where’s detaining and deporting every illegal migrant so they aren’t in bedsits on your street? Where’s the power to send them back home, to places like Afghanistan if needs be? Nowhere to be seen. Where’s blocking the Boriswave from getting Indefinite Leave to Remain and bankrupting Britain with their benefits and social housing? That’s being dropped by the sound of things. It’s just another performative farce, like the Sunak Rwanda Bill I resigned over. Labour are the party of open borders. Have been under Starmer, will be under Burnham. The Tories haven’t changed. They’re still stuffed to the rafters with people who should be in the Lib Dems. Trust me, I know them. They won’t do any of these things. They didn’t even vote against the Bill tonight. Only Reform will secure our borders and put the British people first.

Gutted I didn’t get chance to come back to studio post the commons debate re immigration. I thought I was going to spontaneously combust listening to that. Completely out of touch with how millions & millions of people think & what their concerns are. This country is becoming a basket case 🤯 I worry for our future, I really do 😔

Shocking news that Counter Terrorism Police are investigating a credible, serious threat targeted at an Islamic event in Suffolk. Thanks to the quick action taken by police and the organisers, nobody was hurt. My message is clear: I will not tolerate any attacks on our Muslim communities, or any form of anti-Muslim hatred.

Indeed, what has happened to this country? The far left have been able to get away with their vile, abusive, divisive behaviour for far too long! And no one has caused more division in this country than Keir Starmer.
Andrew Pierce@toryboypierce

So finally police concede what we have always suspected. Ann Widdecombe was murdered because of her right wing views. What has happened to this country ? share.google/QuEf0vxlR5gBDB…

Strange why Mr Hodges does not mention the Chinese influence on both the Labour and Tory Party over the past 30 years. How many Chinese spies are in the UK now. How much influence is our current uni party under from the Chinese. Surely the security services would be more concerned about the parties that have been in power rather than one that hasn’t been in Government yet. He also keeps very quiet on Mr Mandelson.
