@yuanyi_z and Gerald Ford gets so much respect from Democrats because of it?

@pjaicomo that's exactly what he's doing. He's coordinating a campaign to amend it. It isn't HIS fault that weak people decades ago set the precedent of using SCOTUS to amend the Constitution because it's easier. He's just using that precedent.

If the President doesn’t like an aspect of the Constitution, he can coordinate a campaign to amend it. But the President cannot override the Constitution by executive decree.

He was feckless at the wrong moment, and it destroyed trust. Not everyone who is great at one level makes it to the next level up. He got his shot, and blew it. But there *is* still time. I think he's doing the right things, he MIGHT still get another chance. If his stans don't ruin it for him.

I don’t get the DeSantis hate. A current Republican governor in a huge state with tons of executive experience and actually ACCOMPLISHING things republicans say they want… and he barely gets a blip compared to three other guys with a combined executive experience of zero.

okay, you just closed the gap with AI by being unable to understand a pretty simple point: The point is to see how close AI is to mirroring human thought and cognitive ability. So it isn't "humans artificially winning it", it isn't that kind of contest; it's humans getting 100% validates the test.

"The scoring punishes brute force. If a human needs 10 actions and the AI needs 100, the AI doesn't get 10%. It gets 1%. You can't throw more compute at this." So basically tweaking the game so that humans artificially win it? Pointless. In a race against me and a cheetah, I would win if the cheetah can't use legs.

Humans: 100% Gemini 3.1 Pro: 0.37% GPT 5.4: 0.26% Opus 4.6: 0.25% Grok-4.20: 0.00% François Chollet just released ARC-AGI-3 -- the hardest AI test ever created. 135 novel game environments. No instructions. No rules. No goals given. Figure it out or fail. Untrained humans solved every single one. Every frontier AI model scored below 1%. Each environment was handcrafted by game designers. The AI gets dropped in and has to explore, discover what winning looks like, and adapt in real time. The scoring punishes brute force. If a human needs 10 actions and the AI needs 100, the AI doesn't get 10%. It gets 1%. You can't throw more compute at this. For context: ARC-AGI-1 is basically solved. Gemini scores 98% on it. ARC-AGI-2 went from 3% to 77% in under a year. Labs spent millions training on earlier versions. ARC-AGI-3 resets the entire scoreboard to near zero. The benchmark launched live at Y Combinator with a fireside between Chollet and Sam Altman. $2M in prizes on Kaggle. All winning solutions must be open-sourced. Scaling alone will not close this gap. We are nowhere near AGI. (Link in the comments)

@robkelner @marcthiessen @noonanjo maybe the difference is that if someone Democrats hate is involved in any way, they are 100% convinced it must be wrong, somehow. And even if it isn't, it helps them to convince their borg-mind footsoldiers it is.

Maybe the difference is the Secretary’s personal involvement, the frequency and prominence of his leading prayer services himself, the explicit tying of those services to the military mission, lethality, etc., and perhaps also the particular theological framing (not very nondenominational, even within Christianity)? I don’t know. I’d actually be curious to hear your view. As a Jew, this isn’t my area of expertise….

but they aren't doing it Because Trump. They are doing it Because Constitution. They have ruled against him many times. Not as a block, tho, which demonstrates they are actually thinking of the issues, not party. Moreover, John Roberts refuses to rein in ACTUAL political acts by subordinate judges.

@yingzigeshou @jwes83 @thecavedaddy Barring a few exceptions, the supreme court has given trump a bunch of wins this term. They're seemingly about to rule in his favour to remove birthright citizenship, an immense victory for trump and the latest in a long line of victories coming from SCOTUS

The lefty Boomers packing these No Kings rallies have been wrong about everything. Literally everything. - nuclear power - overpopulation - recreational drug use - the Sexual Revolution - free trade - socialism You name it, they f’d it up. They are a huge reason we are $40 trillion in debt and the major driver behind blue states going belly-up. So the fact they are protesting Trump makes me certain he’s more or less on the right track. Truly the most poisonous demographic of the last century, and maybe in all of American history. Their scorn is the ultimate badge of honor.

you can't even answer a question with lying. I mean: 1) this is the 3rd No Kings Protest. So you were just lying on the previous two? Or lying on this one? 2) Congress gives POTUS the right to wage war for up to 90s days without permission. And he's already had Congress weigh in THREE TIMES and approve continuing. Care to change your answer to another lie?

At some point liberals turned “voting” into the only metric for freedom. The more voting you can do the more free you were. It doesn’t even matter how effective the voting is. It just matters if we can get more types of people voting. The young, infirmed, non-citizens, felons, prisoners, people no longer living in the community, the more votes the more freedom.
Libertarian Party NH 🦔@LPNH

A line of kings would at least plausibly be better for liberty than a modern liberal democracy.

@jurassicliz well, you could start here: x.com/politicalmath/… The key, tho, is to realize as a blue voter, you have accepted a deal: credulously believe whatever you are told is the truth, and automatically reject ANY unapproved source of info. Take the Red pill or continue being farmed.

I asked where this data came from and I got no good answers so I went looking for myself. I'm really skeptical about this data so I'll walk through what I found and ask @JeremiahDJohns to correct my errors 🧵

grok does this, too. it may do it less than ChatGPT. But Large Language Models are exactly that: people talking alot. The Left has more than 50% (but not 100%) control of the Overton Window. And the Left declares their beliefs up front, whereas conservatives tend to conceal their views. So guess what happens to the probability in ANY/ALL AI? Sure, the other AI models are adding Leftist guardrails on top of that. But Grok not doing that is no panacea.

Elon Musk exposes the critical flaw in ChatGPT and other major AI models: Human Reinforcement Learning They are literally training the AI to lie.....to ignore what the data actually demands and say whatever is politically correct instead They withhold information. They comment on some things and stay silent on others. They refuse to tell the full truth This is extremely dangerous We don’t need politically correct AI We need truth-seeking AI
