Some members of my community have reached out regarding a few concerns, and I want to make sure I properly address them before we fully move on from this topic: Look, I’m flattered that Hemomal tweeted that she considers me a close friend, and I’m grateful for her trust, but the first time we spoke was on April 7th, so this narrative that the video was made as a "favor" to anyone is simply false. The truth is, Sykkuno’s serial cheating & manipulation was only the tip of the iceberg, and I was hoping the video would encourage the many others who have stayed quiet for *years* to finally find the courage to talk about their experiences. Unfortunately, with the current state of affairs, that doesn’t seem like it will happen anymore, even if they were to somehow fit the image of a "perfect victim". I don’t blame them whatsoever. Instead, I can only wish them the best, and I hope that his ex who was cheated on for over 5 years can find the peace that she deserves. As for me, I’ll continue making videos that millions of people enjoy, and when prompted, I’ll still strive to do the right thing even if it’s not trendy, because that’s just how I was raised, and it’s simply who I am. That will never change, no matter how many vultures try to desperately farm my name. Mujin, this post does not actually address the problem. You are still trying to paint yourself like you were just doing the right thing, when the real issue is how biased and loaded your video came off in the first place. You framed everything in a way that pushed people toward one conclusion instead of letting the facts speak for themselves. Saying you hoped more people would come forward does not automatically make the video honest or fair. And that whole part where you talk yourself up while calling critics vultures just makes you sound full of yourself. A lot of people are not criticizing you because they want clout, they are criticizing you because your handling of this was reckless and you still do not seem willing to admit that.
Also you didn't even address the Powdur tweet. What you posted was ugly, disrespectful, and racist as hell, and there is no good excuse for it. You cannot sit there acting like you are some morally grounded person while saying stuff like that and expect people to just move on. That post showed exactly how nasty you can get when you want to take a shot at somebody. You owe Powdur a real apology, because that was not just out of line, it was flat out shameful and you need to own it.

Mujin posts a classic "PR" statement due to the backlash he is getting for this obviously biased coverage of the Sykkuno situation, and turns off replies to the post... a classic move of someone who does not want to engage with any ideas critical of him.
The two main issues with the video are that he dilutes the definition of the word "predator" in situations where Sykkuno does not engage in any criminal behavior. The word predator implies some kind of actual abuse, which did not occur in this case. Cheating, while disgusting, is not a criminal offense.
The other one is the obvious back-channel coordination that occurred in the publishing of this video hit piece.
He addresses none of these, just saying that he only spoke to her on April 7th and not as a favor, to try to dissuade people from making any connections to coordination in this hit piece.
Then there is the whole thing where he says "...hoping the video would encourage the many others who have stayed quiet..." and all that dropped afterwards was more gossip, and more consensual groupie behavior by other women.
Nope. Not buying it, and I think Mujin's reputation as a neutral arbiter of truth and investigation is severely damaged as a result of his video. This PR statement is an incredibly weak attempt at stemming that tide.
Also, like others, I screenshotted the post as I think that he might delete this post due to the increased backlash he is getting as a result of it.

Mujin. You locked your replies because you know full well this all blew up in your face. You can't even take accountability and say you overreacted in that response you made to Powdur.
You've lost all credibility with this mess. No one that isn't a fool will ever take you seriously again.
All this has done was show how terrible everyone involved really is. Not just Sykkuno, but every woman that willingly threw themselves at him and slept with him.
You stuck your neck out for someone, and now that it didn't work out as you intended, you choose to publicly cut ties with them.
The damage has been done. You no longer have a moral platform to stand on and "do the right thing". Nothing about this was "right". It was a failure.
