S&P 500 sold off by ~10% during the Iran conflict and made a full recovery just 11 trading sessions later. It constituted the fastest V-shaped recovery on record. More charts: a16z.news/p/charts-of-th…

RIP Bloomberg Terminal. Again. Someone just open-sourced a desktop app (REPO of the WEEK!) that does most of what a $24,000-a-year Bloomberg seat does, and it runs on Windows, macOS, and Linux for free. It's called Fincept Terminal. The thing that broke my brain isn't the data coverage. It's the agent layer sitting on top of it. 20+ investor AI agents baked in. Buffett. Dalio. Graham. Soros. Lynch. Klarman. You can route the same trade idea through all of them and watch them argue. Hedge fund presets too. Bridgewater All-Weather. Citadel multi-strat. Renaissance stat models. Pre-built strategies you'd normally pay millions in management fees to access. Then the data stack: → 100+ connectors including Polygon, Kraken, DBnomics with 100M+ economic series, World Bank, IMF, OECD → Full CFA Level 1, 2, 3 analytics implemented in Python → Visual node editor to wire data sources to Python agents to MCP tools without writing glue code → 3D globe with live AIS ship tracking, aircraft paths, and satellite orbits → Local LLM support so your positions never leave your machine That last one matters more than people realize. Every analyst at every fund is currently typing their thesis into ChatGPT and praying OpenAI doesn't notice. Fincept runs everything locally. Your alpha stays your alpha. The visual node editor is the part nobody else has. Drag a Polygon feed into a Buffett agent into an MCP tool that emails you when conditions hit. No code. No infra. This used to be the kind of stack you needed a Goldman badge to touch. 2.6K stars. AGPL-3.0. 100% Opensource.

CODEX FINALLY ADDED BUILT IN RALPH LOOPS it apparently can run for multiple days straight if you let it, until the task is finished its called /goal and to enable it you have to go to config.toml, ctrl f to find [features] then add goals = true

You can now keep codex going for days. With GPT-5.5 it will build an entire OS kernel for you if you ask, or find critical bugs in a codebase, or optimize your database schemas, or… the options are endless.

32K GitHub stars in just 10 hours! Warp is a banger terminal, one of the few tools I use that makes me believe good software still exists. so happy to see they joined open-source rather than fear security risks. and of course it’s rust.

do you understand what just hit #1 on GitHub trending. a single CLAUDE.md file. 87,000 stars. zero dependencies. here's the part nobody is talking about: — Claude Code makes wrong assumptions every session. — overwrites code you didn't ask to touch. — adds 800 lines when 80 would do. — one file fixes all of it. 4 principles. derived from Karpathy's own observations. → think before coding. → simplicity first. → surgical edits only. → goal-driven targets before starting. drop it into your project before you write another line. before you review another broken diff. before you waste another hour on rewrites. free. one command. link below.

🚨do you understand what the Head of Anthropic Coding Agents just dropped. 30 minutes. more value than 100 paid courses. not a course. not a tutorial. how top AI researchers actually build. here's the part nobody is talking about: > real workflows. not theory. > vibe coding from the source. > how they think, build, and ship with agents. watch this before you write another prompt. before you build another agent. before you touch another tool. 30 minutes. bookmark it. watch it today. this one changes how you use AI for good.

Lmao, this is too stressful. Simply ask codex the following: You are continuing a session from Claude Code. Context: - The previous session is stored locally in the `.claude/` directory. - Locate the most recent session transcript (or the session titled ""). - Read the full transcript before taking any action. Tasks: 1. Context Reconstruction - Summarize the goal of the session. - Identify what has already been completed. - Identify the exact stopping point. 2. Task Tracking - Extract any TODO list, checklist, or implicit tasks. - Classify each item: - DONE - PARTIALLY DONE (explain what’s missing) - NOT DONE 3. Continuation - Resume work from the last unfinished step. - Do NOT repeat completed work. - Follow the same approach, style, and decisions already established. 4. Execution Rules - Prefer continuing edits rather than restarting solutions. - If context is missing or ambiguous, inspect related files in the workspace. - Only ask questions if progress is blocked. Output: - Brief context summary - Task status breakdown - Clear next action - Continue execution immediately
