@0Gunt0 @kittyrexie @normalmaxxedaj Reading a book ≠ fantasizing, masturbating, or lusting. Porn and romance novels are not equivalent. Erotica, sure. But not all romance novels are erotica.

I’m learning that many straight women really do just want their boyfriends to lie to them constantly. They don’t want honest, vulnerable admissions of desire & predilections, they want to be deceived & manipulated because they prefer the egotistical fantasy that their man only ever thinks sexually about them as opposed to actual intimacy. It’s very childish, actually. Teenage girl mentality

I love that more and more women are calling out their boyfriends for watching that misogynistic trash 🙂‍↕️

@0Gunt0 @kittyrexie @normalmaxxedaj ..? women touch themselves to erotica and romance novels..... however a large majority of women dont consume those things, whereas most men watch porn, which is sad imo. like just have sex with people. same for the women. why get off to others doing it. do it urself

@theenigma9900 @kittyrexie @normalmaxxedaj The spirit of the rule is not fantasizing, masturbating or lusting over another and reserving that desire for your partner exclusively. If you can't walk the walk then don't expect your other to do the same

@0Gunt0 @kittyrexie @normalmaxxedaj Did you…actually just try to compare…a woman reading a romance novel to a man jacking off to porn??? If masturbation isn’t involved then it’s obviously NOT the same thing as a man jacking off to porn. I swear I lose brain cells just from reading dumb ass takes like this

@kittyrexie @normalmaxxedaj Absolutely are, if they follow the SPIRIT of the rule Women will still consume erotica, romance novels, thirst over celebs, etc but somehow it doesn't count cause masturbation isn't involved. It's self serving logic to the women doing this, but unfair to the male counterpart

@normalmaxxedaj genuine question for you, if a woman does not watch porn within a relationship, how is it an unreasonable expectation of her partner? if there is clear communication and she holds herself to the same standard, why is she not allowed to want a partner who doesnt watch porn?

@hecubian_devil Ultimately regulation is gonna come from industry. Randos on twitter won't be able to slop together bootleg Pixar work w/o getting sued, but Pixar will definitely be making their own slop with the tech There will be no containment other than not being able to slop a corps style

Yes, this is slop—in part because the person making seems tasteless, dull, and infatuated with the tech itself rather than narrative art—but video gen is clearly close to *commercial viability* in the right hands. Especially for kids’ content, since they’re undiscerning. This is why I’ve been agitating for a leftist AI skeptical response bigger than “it’s slop, it sucks, it’s fake, it’s bad.” Because it has been getting vastly more capable, and is rapidly approaching the point at which *enough* people will be willing to pay for it—even if YOU don’t, even if LOTS OF US don’t—that it will entrench. Right now, we call it slop and get a lot of positive feedback and feel superior and good and like we are leading the majority. Give it two years and people will be parking their kids in front of AI-generated children’s shows without a second thought. They’ll be getting mad at you for calling it slop, because they’ll feel impugned as parents. Other people will be getting mad because they have AI “friends,” or they’ve gotten addicted to using it at work or school to take shortcuts. It feels so good right now to shit on AI on the basis of its capabilities, but that is clearly *time-limited* and ultimately a failing strategy to contain and regulate AI. we have got to come up with something better, stronger.

Listen I feel for people who get in a situation like this, but insurance is a financial instrument and you need to understand what kind of coverage you're paying for. Like just because you paid for this thing and then you had some stupid idea that you got from God knows where about what insurance is supposed to do does not mean that that is the instrument you're paying for. If I pay for mandatory minimum state auto insurance and then somebody sues me for 10 times the maximum payout The insurance company does not owe me 10 times more money because it's called insurance. This isn't some kind of legal trick the insurance pulled. These are basic things about policies. You don't read the things you sign up for it and then you mad that you don't even understand the basics of the instrument.
MatrixMysteries@MatrixMysteries

A woman loses her home in a fire. She asks insurance to rebuild the SAME home—no upgrades, no expansion. Insurance says NO. Her policy only covers what the house USED to cost. After years of paying premiums, she finds out the “coverage” disappears when she actually needs it.

@SwannMarcus89 What meaningful contribution is there in celebrity voice acting that VAs within the industry couldn't? I think one of the largest corps to ever exist can afford to fund and staff plenty of people to animate the show on an annual basis. Don't forget to let Bezo's spit on it

It’s funny how there are all these hyberbolic YouTube videos about how bad Invincible’s animation is and people are always whining about how they spent all the budget on voice actors instead of animation but it’s clearly one of the best American animated shows ever according to both audiences and critics Doesn’t this kind of imply “animation quality” doesn’t matter to anyone other than total nerds and animated shows are better off spending their money on writing talent and voice actors instead of top notch animation?

These athletes are proud of our flag and country. They were asked for their opinions on the policies of this administration and they gave honest answers. If you associate love of country with party affiliation then you’re the one that misunderstands the meaning of patriotism.

Any athlete embarrassed to represent the United States has no business wearing Team USA across their chest. Representing this country is an honor. If you don’t love America, step aside, someone who does will gladly take your place.

@0Gunt0 @krassenstein @MattWalshBlog How did Alex find the officers? Ashley Babbitt was not an insurrectionist because J6 was not an insurrection it was a protest that turned violent just like hundreds of protests have before. You dehumanize one but elevate another that’s called bias.

That is the risk these people take putting themselves in these situations. No one forced Alex to stalk law enforcement he made a choice.
