One positive side-effect of this Iranian-American-Israeli War against the Gulf, is seeing how many amazing local regional pundits and experts are providing great analysis, critical thinking and long-missed local voices and views from the Gulf states

Atlassian just confirmed 1,600 layoffs with 900+ coming from engineering But I'm hearing the real story from inside Sources say they've been running "knowledge extraction sprints" for 6 months - recording every senior engineer's screen, logging their prompts, documenting their debugging workflows One architect told me they made him walk through his entire microservices decision tree while they filmed it. Called it "knowledge transfer for the transition team" The transition team? 47 contractors in Bangalore with access to his recorded sessions and a Claude Enterprise subscription Same architect just found out his replacement starts Monday. Guy makes $28k annually and ships code 40% faster using the exact prompt libraries they extracted They're not just cutting headcount - they're systematizing 15 years of engineering expertise into training data The "strategic AI focus" isn't about building AI products It's about replacing their entire engineering culture with agents trained on their senior engineers' knowledge Word is the CTO replacement already has the playbook: extract, document, offshore, automate If you're still there and they ask you to "document your processes for the team" - RUN The knowledge extraction is complete

It is surreal that this imposter and fugitive continues to masquerade as a Member of Parliament and Information Minister of Bangladesh more than 18 months after his government abdicated. It is disheartening that @x continues to allow him to pose as an official account. I hope Bangladesh’s government can work with X to remedy this.

In Hatia, Noakhali, local BNP t*errorists raped a mother of three for the “crime” of voting for the Shapla Koli symbol. I strongly condemn and protest this heinous and shameful incident. In the post-uprising Bangladesh of 2024, such a vile repetition of Awami fascist behavior is absolutely unacceptable. So far, the role of the law enforcement agencies has been disappointing. Immediate action must be taken against these terrorists. The BNP must take responsibility for these incidents. Effective measures must be adopted to control its leaders and activists. Otherwise, it will have to face severe consequences.

Let’s take the post’s numbers as true that 11 Hindus were killed in Bangladesh. ( Others murder are not communal like the one of Dipu) Bangladesh averages 10 murders per day. In 22 days, that’s over 220 murders. If 11 of them were Hindu, now the victim’s religion is being highlighted. What about the remaining 210 victims? Who are Muslims. Now, if someone says "210 Muslims were killed in 22 days", how would that sound? Murder doesn’t automatically mean it’s communal, like in the case of Dipu Chandra Das. For perspective, in India, the average of reported murders was 82 per day in 2021, totaling about 30,000 reported murders. Over 22 days, that’s over 1800 murders. If 85% of the victims are Hindu, that’s about 1500 Hindu deaths. Would you say 1,500 Hindus were killed in 22 days in India? Would you say 25,000 Hindus were killed in India in 2021? (If 85% are Hindus of 30,000). Clearly not, and that’s not how it should be termed. The logic is simple, a murder victim’s religion alone cannot be used to push a communal narrative. Murder is a common problem worldwide. A Hindu killed in Bangladesh or a Muslim killed in India does not automatically make it a communal or hate-based crime. A murder only becomes communal or sectarian when there is clear evidence of a religious, sectarian, or hate-driven motive. Without such intent, it is simply a criminal act, not an instance of communal persecution.
