I see a lot of lack of understanding of the male perspective here so will explain I think better. A) Saying he is not someone she would hook up with indicates clearly she is the type who hooks up or has one night stands. A woman who does this is not an ideal long term mate for a man. A woman who does not have hookups or one-night-stands wouldn't even say this. "A guy she should hook up with" wouldn't even exist if she never did. We're not talking necessarily about virginity, it would just be someone who is careful and may have had long term relationship in past only. In addition, being told he doesn't qualify for hook ups she has done before - while women are seeing this as a plus - men are seeing are not. Typically in society the kind of guy that can do these is seen as exciting, chad, etc. You are telling him he is not exciting. You may say it's projection but why not instead just say to him "you are someone I would hook up with AND marry" instead of indicating he doesn't qualify for one of these? Or, if marriage/long term really is for the worthy guys only, why in the heck did you allow hook ups in the first place? By telling him he's not someone you'd do that with you already told him you did/do. So it also says you don't respect yourself. So, just don't say it. I don't know if this post is real or not but it's a great way to see how the sexes view things differently.

yeah, maybe! I don't actually know exactly what happened, you're right. Maybe her feelings for him were already unsalvageable, who knows? And for someone else, who was testing for different things, maybe staying up late and listening to the song would have been the correct answer. I guess I'm just presenting a scenario here where she actually would have gotten useful information from the shit test that would have influenced her actions
