In 2023-24, L & T Chairman Subramaniam have got 51.05 cr as salary and allowances 43% more than last year. Subramanian's daily salary & allowances are Rs 14 lac. If someone gets this much salary,he will hang his chaddi in office itself. But, avg salary of common employees of L&T is 535% less than Subramaniam. Subramaniam gave only 1.32% salary hike to his employees and yet wants them to not stare at their wives and work 90 hr a week🤷‍♂️

The ONLY way I foresee our cities becoming livable is by handing over the planning and development rights to private players in PPP mode. We tried it in aviation. Our pvt airports are among the best in the world. We privatized Passport Seva Kendra operations, and the change is for everyone to see. We should extend this to other areas. Disband municipalities, municipal corporations, local bodies. Bring in competent, qualified people to do the planning. We cannot let another generation of this country suffer -- or worse, die -- because some contractor and babu decided to siphon money off the 'system' and couldn't care less.
