I would LOOOOVE to talk to a software engineer on VW's infotainment system. I seriously want to understand how this (and so many other anti-UX-stuff) gets shipped. Even better if top-shelf technical interviewers like @GergelyOrosz would do it.

When you start a startup, so many people tell you to ship fast and ship messy. "You’ll know you have PMF when people use your broken product." I think this is outdated advice that doesn't work anymore in 2024. Maybe better today would be: "ship fast, small scope, high quality"

Incredible how some “traditional” companies operate. A well-known bank in a country has a Tech team and an Architecture team. Architecture does not report to - or is related - to Tech. They make all the Tech architecture decisions. The Architects don’t even come from Tech.
