@_Hord_ There’d be a problem with sides, but generally, sure, that should work :)

@0x4fab Assuming this can also be used to make just Ai lines for race tracks also?

@Simmer514 Yeah, this use is too much. It’s more of a faster to render and more flexible alternative to digital instruments. There were, for example, some types of RPM meter bars we couldn’t get to work previously (without creating a ton of meshes, but all those draw calls aren’t cheap)

@0x4fab This is impressive. Mostly unnecessary maybe. But impressive.

Scriptable displays! All in about 240 lines of script in a config, mostly because of that menu, for most use cases it would be simpler. Here’s a video in better quality: files.acstuff.ru/shared/XjlL/20…

@WavyBastard Yes, something like that. First I sort of raise original color in power and then I add a bit of “normalized” original color (dividing it by its luminosity) and a bit of neutral brownish color to alter hue a bit. Here’s the code: #L156" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">gitlab.com/ac-custom-shad…

@0x4fab Interesting. I assume you used a grey scale (0-255) that changes with angle of incidence?

Updated shader for displays with TN matrix type, this time based on proper references rather than my imagination

@MeNotEye Oh, not at all, just some track-related shaders, like trees or specialized surfaces. Nothing much really

@Kalamian13 @Simmer514 Hey, yes, as soon as we’ll finish its physics and sort out a couple of major issues with it (first is configs protection, and another is that cars shouldn’t require extended physics to use rain)

@assettocorsamod And later I’m hoping to add a feature where tracks could be distributed with special new modes as part of the package, so track creators could create something too. Would work especially well then. Just need to fix a few new bugs first, as usual 😅

@assettocorsamod Oh, that’s from newer part (which is also great), nice! That script should work with this track too, although I suspect coordinates would need to be adjusted. I’ll do it in the upcoming update (turns out I also forgot to check for victory conditions, ha)

@Simmer514 Yes! With upcoming CSP update (building it now), it’s now possible to create custom game modes, and I found a track for it on RaceDepartment, so I had to try and recreate it :)

@morten_leon Already there, just enable it in settings (reflections checkbox in Weather FX and fog blur in Extra FX for shaking air) and pick a sunny summer day

@imoutodesuuu Yeah, I worry a bit it would be the only possible type of new flames. I was so focused on trying to replicate a shape of a flame, I didn’t add any proper size-defining parameters :D I found that cutting flame early seems to produce a pretty neat result for smaller flame though:

Trying to figure out a good way to draw flames. Of course, it’s way too much, but it could be used for blown up engine or something like that.
