Ever since I became the CTO of $PUNCH, I’ve been dealing with a frustrating bug where creator fees weren’t flowing to me at all. For roughly the past 3 days, I’ve been in intense negotiations with the Pump.fun team (probably around 20+ email exchanges back and forth). But today, we finally made real progress — the fee distribution settings have been successfully completed. From now on, fees will properly flow 100% into my dev wallet. At last, I can finally move forward with the original main goal: making donations and supporting the monkeys (PUNCH community / zoo). So let me share the current plan / vision for how things will move forward from here. First, the vast majority of the fees will be used for donations. That said, the zoo side will likely have their own requests and needs too, so I plan to discuss everything carefully with them and decide together thoughtfully. I’m also considering using a small portion of the fees for occasional buy-backs or boosts — basically anything that helps increase visibility and exposure for traders. From past experience, this kind of action is most effective when timed right, so I will personally judge when (and if) it’s the appropriate moment to do so. Right now, that’s the general outline of how I intend to use the fees. But this is not set in stone — the plan should stay flexible and evolve over time. So I promise: whenever good ideas or better proposals come up (from the community or elsewhere), I’ll update the approach accordingly. Regarding discussions with the zoo: I’m actually heading to the zoo tomorrow, so I plan to speak directly with the person in charge at that time. As soon as I have any updates from that conversation, I’ll share them with the community as quickly as possible. Things are steadily moving forward in the right direction.
