@GEMSAlliance @anth0nybeaumont @reflexerfinance @feiprotocol @FloatProtocol It's a design choice. We're not trying to be RAI - which is designed to be stable (and frankly $ pegged with an offset in practice) or FEI.
It's a trade-off space and we wanted to not have the stress of a 50% drop in a day with FLOAT, but still the potential for a 20-30% rise.

A few days ago, @samczsun pointed out that @indexcoop's Rari pool 19 was being attacked. While this was indeed an attempted oracle manipulation, the attacker ended up failing miserably and lost 68 ETH.
Here's a breakdown of how it went wrong for the attacker:

The good news out of this is that arbitrage bots have woken up to the opportunity and rekt the attempted price manipulation.
More secure V3 oracles here we come.

1/ An update: I tweeted a live vulnerability out when there was a better alternative (though I didn't realize at the time) and for that I apologize. It's especially bad because I've ragged on others for similar things before, and I hate being a hypocrite. Here's what happened.

@_RustyRabbit @MonetSupply @0xPEPO Metamask literally shows you the ABI and raw data, it's one step away from showing "castVote(proposalId=2, supports=true)". Which function you are calling should be most prominently displayed because rugged payload can be catastrophic.
