Northrop Grumman has laid off an undisclosed number of workers in the Baltimore area, the company said Tuesday.
The aerospace and defense technology company, a large federal contractor, told Baltimore-area employees recently about a “small number” of workforce reductions, a spokeswoman said.
Work reductions at Northrop Grumman come on the heels of additional Anne Arundel County-based layoffs announced earlier this month — including Leidos, with 71 upcoming layoffs, and Tyto Athene, with 39. @alankarjain91 @GergelyOrosz Context was the target of the original attack, and the fact they didn’t look into compromised OAuth connections from their environments to alert connected users/customers is the reason why they’re the subject here. They only took notice once Vercel noticed.

Few things are more embarrassing for any company than to only learn from your customer that you have been breached.
It's what happened with Context ai.
Vercel acted as their security team.
This could well be a business-ending event, as it shows the startup cannot be trusted.

Update: According to Apple, the contract that the union agreed to states that in the event of a store closure, Apple would transfer or rehire employees if the company opened a new store within 50 miles of the current location at Towson Town Center. In any other circumstance, the union negotiated for employees to receive severance. Apple has no current plans to open a new store in the area, but if it were to do so within the next 18 months, the affected employees would have the right of first refusal.
