I save over $10k a year on medical expenses. A few years ago, I was spending a huge part of my income on doctors, massages, and trying to fix my neck and back. The irony is that it happened while I was chasing freedom. I spent countless hours behind a computer. The money was coming in, but my body was paying the price. Today, after yoga, I caught myself doing something interesting. It’s a day off, yet I still went through a few movements I learned this week. Not because I had to. Because it felt natural. That’s when I realized that health isn’t something you work on after you become successful. It’s what allows you to enjoy that success in the first place. Money can wait 30 minutes while you move your body. Your body can’t wait forever. One of the best things about being around people like @tttbymila and gatherings like @islanddao is that they remind you of something simple: A healthy body gives you freedom. Freedom to travel. Freedom to work. Freedom to wake up tomorrow and do whatever you choose. And that’s worth far more than most people realize.
