I honestly miss being in the “trenches”, not necessarily in onchain terms but when I mentally was just dialed in and head down absorbing info like a madman. eat sleep trade rinse repeat That was what it took to chase insane returns n portfolio gains. I got lucky w table selection (trading coins) and timing played in my favor (things clicked just as things picked up like crazy > start of the Solana bull run). Aside from that, I built skill to navigate properly and make +ev decisions over a long period of time. Nowadays feels like my mind has sort of slowed down and return to more normie levels of day to day life and with that my risk tolerance and appetite has faded quite a bit. > no longer looking to chase the gains of the past % wise as I no longer have to. Think it’s pretty important to recognize when u hit that stride aka ur first prime and be able to flirt w the boundaries of risk and how far u can push it. gotta manage the gas pedal well. Too much and u blow up, too little and you’ve left too much on the table. Before u know it, ur prime is gone. Still waiting to see if I ever hit that 2nd prime.

attention span and holding span killed trenches back in the end of 2023 and early 2024, people used to hold on a coin overnight, either rugged or it sent 10-20x now people have so much PTSD, they can't hold more than a few hours less = more where's the holders at? communities

I share the same opinion as OD on the trenches We used to baghold and work for YEARS, we had amazing runners like $FLOKI, $PEPE, massive BSC runners, massive ETH runners Feels like people just want a casino and quick cash, not real money or gains I'd trade the entire SOL Blockchain for a chance at a normal 1B runner again

It’s diff from 2021 influencers era as it was the first major onboard after the 2017 rally Or the late 2019 icos Those guys made their wealth shilling ref links for major exchanges that are still printing today and being the first to do so or on promoting icos, a p crazy alt run as well Now it’s narrower for new influencers to make money and they resort to max extraction aka rugging in 4k and then pretending nothing is happening / happened. We also gave the wrong niggas a voice of opinion. I think we really peaked onboarding wise last year after goat - trump. Most these paid sub groups are ass and don’t even have profitable founders aside from deal flow stuff like Cooker, JS, and a few others

And then we have the other mix of photoshopping cex pnl larps Or stealing axiom pnls To sell groups and so on The “new” influencer core for crypto is max extraction and people that don’t deserve any of that Idk where and when the new standard become max pvp, rug, bundle and deploy maxing with all these newer paid groups spawning or streamers where the founders / owners themselves cant make money without doing any of that. And then these guys wonder why they lost all their motion is because they extracted their thin liquidity and rugging their members and followers or taking gay obvious scam KOLs dead without any research and so goes for the guys getting scammed

@FlippingProfits @satsdats no one gonna make it cost $500-1k to deploy a coin like back in the day. it would stop the mass producing of coins and lower the vamps but these platforms would never give up their revenue they got now for less launches and less revenue

@FlippingProfits cost of acquiring a significant amount of supply 20x’s prices out a lot of bundlers who intend to farm charts. we can’t stop the problem, but we can for sure limit it to some extent.

idk who needs to hear this but MetaMask wallet is genuinely unusable compared to Rabby wallet using it on my old PC and it took me like 5 mins just to get a swap to go thru bc I was connected to the wrong chain and had to reconnect my wallet three times

Was just staring at my wall at 3:50 am thinking about the the transient nature of life When you put it into perspective that one day EVERYONE you grew up with, spent time with, or just had the opportunity to enjoy/ hate life with. One day will just disappear physically and spiritually. And EVERYTHING you worked hard for will just also vanish from ur life forever and you don’t even know when that day is and what happens to these things you lost ur mind over to acquire. Maybe after all these years in front of a screen in isolation I prolly realized it’s time to once again pursue a meaningful existence in life before it is too late, I think what I realized is we (as traders, People who work hard with less social interactions, ect) Get too distracted with pursuing deeper aspirations, work, money, responsibilities, ambitions. That we end up being completely disconnected between sense of self and time and just watch our time slip away, and only after realizing what was the sacrifice really actually for if I couldn’t do XYZ thing, or missed XYZ person/ things existence.
