The next massive company is being built by someone with: - no audience - no clout - almost no one paying attention. That’s my favorite kind of founder. I will find you & fund you!

Love seeing how @lambatoken crypto voucher flow works seamlessly with @planbokHQ customer-custody wallet The PIN setup for first users + instant balance update really shows how simple secure transactions can be when the infrastructure is doing its job quietly in the background
Planbok (AyaHQ '25)@planbokHQ

@lambatoken Card runs on Planbok's customer-custody wallets That means users have total control of their assets Not even Planbok can control funds And if they ever choose to leave? Their wallet goes with them fully exportable, no lock-ins This is what real ownership looks like

@0xGech @planbokHQ Reach out to them. I presume they’ve built their wallet system from scratch but if you can offer them stuff like wallet abstraction, could work.

Nigeria truly has one of the highest stablecoin usage rates in the world but the conclusion many people draw from that is too simplistic. When analysts say “Nigeria leads in stablecoin adoption,” they usually mean dollar stablecoins like USDT and USDC. That framing already shapes the narrative. What’s often left out is that Nigeria also has local stablecoin infrastructure like cNGN, yet most reports ignore it completely when discussing adoption. Why? Because the real demand Nigerians are expressing isn’t for “stablecoins” as a technology. It’s for access to stable value, which in practice usually means dollars. In Nigeria, dollar stablecoins function primarily as an fx workaround. People use them for savings, cross border payments, freelance income, and import/export settlement. In practice, they operate as a parallel foreign exchange rail. But there’s another layer most global analysts miss. Companies like Zone are already using stablecoins under the hood to power domestic financial infrastructure. Zone operates a blockchain-based switching and processing network that connects multiple Nigerian banks and financial institutions. Before I left, I hoped and had discussions around Zone embedding cNGN to power these transactions. I think it'll happen in the future. Or work around other other S&P coys willing to use stablecoins. Poco a poco, though. But it will happen. In this model, stablecoins can serve as settlement rails for intra-country transactions meaning stablecoin usage can exist inside financial infrastructure without users ever seeing or holding a stablecoin themselves. In other words, a large portion of stablecoin usage in Nigeria could and would become invisible infrastructure, embedded in payment rails rather than retail wallets(small thinking for me). This makes the headline “Nigeria is a stablecoin superpower” somewhat misleading. What Nigeria actually demonstrates is what happens when millions of people need reliable monetary rails both for dollar access and for faster domestic settlement and new technologies fill the gaps. Nigeria isn’t simply a stablecoin market. It’s a currency access and financial infrastructure market and stablecoins are just one of the tools currently powering it.
