@ListenToFaze @tokenproof I see - guess the problem is you're still vulnerable if that service was hacked - needs to be more decentralised ideally. Really we need wallets to show good / bad intention more clearly rather than gibberish the average user doesn't understand.

@0xMrZeon @tokenproof My idea would be to have a service like premint but for snapshots. Users could sign up with multiple wallets. Collections could then use the service to do the snapshot. The snapshot would read holdings from cold wallet and provide the collection with the hot wallet address.

Top tip: Setup a new account in your wallet, and only use it for mints, nothing else, DO NOT store ETH in it, DO NOT store NFTs in it. This then becomes the ONLY wallet you connect to websites, and mint with - once you mint, transfer it all out to another wallet.

@ListenToFaze I think that's the idea behind @tokenproof - or similar anyway. It's tricky, because in order to know you own it, there needs to be an auth process, and that means connecting the wallet - but if you guard it by having it in a specific wallet to that project it helps...

@0xMrZeon Has anyone developed a solution for snapshots? Say a collection wants to whitelist current holders, they take a snapshot and add those addresses to the WL. We are then forced to mint from the same address that contains our NFTs.

Remember. In #web3 you are basically a bank - think about that for a second, and then change how you do things. Don’t store everything in 1 wallet. Don’t mint from a wallet with tokens in it. Use a hardware wallet. Use project specific wallets. Don’t click random links.
