Respect for the transparency. You’re hitting on challenges we’ve seen businesses at your scale run into when real-world traffic meets the blockchain. Our team has been heads-down with leaders across the space on how an L1 can fine-tune the execution environment around what serious apps actually need: settlement certainty, predictable costs, and business-specific tooling. Polymarket is the clearest example of a system that needs web2 reliability on web3 rails. Quick thoughts from the chain side: Latency: Sonic finalizes in ~500ms, deterministically. No probabilistic confirms, no reorgs. Your “near-instant” target is already reality on an L1 stack. ~10k TPS sustained, sub-second single-slot finality, ~$0.0001 average fees. Chain migration: Doors are open, and we’re actively making bespoke improvements for serious teams. Most chains slow down as throughput climbs; Sonic is designed to get faster under high load. Cancelled transactions: At your scale, this is a throughput and execution problem. Sonic’s headroom removes the congestion vector. Deterministic finality removes the reorg vector. Your CLOB shouldn’t be dropping orders because the chain can’t keep up. Cheap gas, instant finality, battle-tested uptime, and native USDC are default. Prediction markets need reserved capacity for market makers, gasless user flows, protocol-native atomic batching, and app-critical transactions that still land when volume spikes. Would love to compare notes with your tech team on what Polymarket’s real-world throughput has taught you, and where we can build to support it. DMs open 🫡

@flyingtulip_ just dropped Margin Lending on @SonicLabs 🌷💥 Not your typical DeFi lending. → Maintenance-based system → Market-aware risk → Cross-collateral design → Soft liquidations All built to make capital more efficient and finally usable across the stack. Sonic speed + atomic execution = smoother, smarter DeFi. The credit layer is live. The system is expanding. $FT $S

Well, well, well we called this over a month ago that Mitch and Owen had left @SonicLabs it was obvious 🤷‍♂️ So SL blocking everyone for “FUD” when in reality it was the truth all along, what absolute clowns running the show. And who is in leadership now, apparently the Board of Directors but who is on that board? Oh yeah it’s Kong, Andre and some other guy who keeps a low profile. So nothing has changed it’s still the exact same leadership that created this entire fucking mess in the first place 🤣 As I said it’s a fucking clown show over at SL. Great tech but led by retards who don’t have the first idea of how to run it as a functional business 🤡

I’ve moved on from my role with Sonic Labs. While my time there was brief, I’m grateful for the experience and wish the organization all the best.

@flyingtulip_ There were many more willing to participate and bough $S for that purpose, as $FT was supposed to be built on @SonicLabs, only to be left out completely. Whole team went mia and just decided to ignore the project they said they were building exactly for this purpose.

They are doing well. Yearn, launched and decentralized at $3, still going great, still 400m TVL, amazing team. Pretty good for a project that raised $0 and had 0 tokens for team/foundation. Keep3r, launched and decentralized at $1, still okay, but not a lot of demand for decentralized keepers nowadays, yearn and maker still use it, but otherwise people tend to centralize keeper functions. Again pretty good for a project that raised $0 and had 0 tokens for team/foundation. Solidly, launched as an immutable primitive and example of how to bootstrap any chains liquidity, again, ve33 became a standard in initial chain liquidity, so I would same pretty good for a project that raised $0 and had 0 tokens for team/foundation, and the blueprint achieved exactly what it set out to accomplish. As for "raising more money", this is my first time raising money and actually building a product and not a decentralized primitive. So we will see how it goes. Appreciate you showing interest.

FT raise mental model. FT has had some big headlines; - $200m seed - $25m follow-on - $55m Impossible - $10m CoinList But, this isn't actually money raised. In traditional finance terms, this is the equivalent of raising money, putting that all in tbills, and using only the interest to cover opex. The capital remains untouched. And this is what allows investors their anytime "refund" option. The beauty of decentralized finance and smart contracts, is that we can do this within smart contract guarantees, onchain, non custodial, and always online. In the above tradfi example there are still trust assumptions, and you would need to put in a refund request and won't have access atomically. With blockchains, we can. So what actually happens if you participate in USDC for example; USDC is invested and deposited into Aave. You receive a PUT contract, this contract is receipt of both the USDC and FT token, at any point in time, you can either claim FT (forfeiting your portion of USDC), or forfeit FT (reclaiming your portion of USDC). Only that specific PUT, has those specific rights (PUTs are transferable). So then, what have we actually raised? The dashboard below shows the "Total Investment Value" (current assets sitting in PUT contracts (a mix of USDC, USDT, USDe, USDS, and ETH), and "All-time Yield Generated", the funds we actually raised. So to date, FT has raised ~$85k. The model is designed for incentive alignment and optionality. Markets aren't binary, events outside of our control happen all the time, you never know when you might need liquidity. The usual option is only to sell your investment (if it is even liquid, vested, and unlocked). This model allows for no vesting, always liquid, and always accessible. Any teams interested in following something similar, please reach out, we are more than happy to help guide others with similar mechanism. flyingtulip.com/allocation/das…

For those that are interested seems the old Sonic Marines TG has had a hostile takeover and installed new mods and they have basically banned everything, no links allowed, no stickers, editing people’s messages and so on. Must be part of their “community first” initiative 🤷‍♂️ Anyway some of the community have setup a new group free from this oppressive regime for those that care and can be found on the link below 👇 t.me/SonicMarines

@SonicLabs this is how you address your community who has concerns, not whatever it is that you are doing with your glazing articles. Your entire problem is you treat your community like they are the enemy when reality is these are your customers and the people who actually gave you the time of day. You have existed for 8 years and if you hate the community you have built after all that time then maybe it’s not the community that is the problem 🤷‍♂️
Matias@frostLedger

To the Avalanche community: I am not blind to where we stand. I see and share your frustration. I took this role because I believe Avalanche has some of the strongest technical foundations in crypto. But strong foundations don't matter if the economics built on top of them haven't evolved with the ecosystem. What made sense at launch doesn't necessarily hold today, and having the honesty to rethink that is where it starts. But economics alone won't fix this either. The solution isn't singular. It's non-trivial. It's built from small things that compound over time. And it takes all of us coming together to make it happen. That starts with each of us being willing to ask the difficult questions first. The priorities I've set for my team are about getting back to fundamentals. Focusing on what creates structural demand, the kind that doesn't disappear when market cycles turn. Building the right economic conditions for sustainable growth, not dependent on the next narrative. Some things are working. Real-world asset growth on Avalanche is real. Institutional capital is showing up, not because of hype, but because the infrastructure earns it. That's the kind of growth you can build on. But I'm not going to pretend everything is working. Some of our current mechanisms have design flaws. I'd rather say that publicly and work to fix them than pretend otherwise. That's how trust is built: through execution, not promises. Sustainable growth doesn't come from one catalyst. It comes from getting the fundamentals right. I want to hear from you. Not the "gm" replies or the "wen moon" questions. I want the hard feedback. Where are we failing? What's broken that nobody's talking about? What would make you stay, or come back? If your criticism is constructive, I'll take it seriously, even if it's harsh. If it's just empty noise, I'll keep scrolling. I came into crypto from institutional finance because I believe this technology can reshape how capital markets work. I chose Avalanche because I think the architecture can support that vision. But architecture alone doesn't win. Execution does. Community does. The only way we win is together. 🔺

After the october revolution in 1917, the Bolsheviks entered the Peterhof Palace and nationalized it, which before then was property of the Romanovs - the imperial family. Apart from brutally executing the entire imperial family and staff, they went one step further and ruined a lot of the imperial art collection, reason being - it embodied bourgeoisie decadence. Some was sold under the false premise of wealth distribution, giving to the poor, bla bla bla. it obviously never made it to the people. This disgusting MOB behavior has been present since homo-erectus to crypto twitter today. AC is just one of the victims of the crypto mob, the same ones use his tech daily. the irony is uncanny. I hate this space because of it, and i dont know how and why AC puts up with it. but i guess thats the difference between those that live to move the needle in this world, and those that form opinions based on tweets with zero regard for the truth.

Tell me what is half truth from following facts 1. For last several months team is disrespecting everyone, blocking their long term supporters 2. Team is not in anyway involved in de-escalation of the problems which emerged since failed rebranding 3. Andre deleting everything connecting him to $FTM or $S 4. Team leadership went dark, not mentioning $S for months 5. Team pointing everyone into $FT which wont be initialy released on $S, as promised 6. $S dropped from top 50 to even 200+ 7. Team leadership removed they titles, CTO, CEO, CIO from their profiles 8. Investors are left in the dark not knowing who is in the leadership of the project for months, even so that info should be public if you are serious company 9. Treasury? ... So wtf are you saying?
