For 50 years, software engineering ran on code rationing. Writing code was expensive, so we rationed it carefully through roadmaps, RFCs, prioritization meetings, and scope reviews. This created a role: the No Engineer. No, that won't scale. No, we don't have bandwidth. No, that's out of scope. No, we need a design doc first. The No Engineer was valuable for 50 years. Every "no" saved real money. Their judgment was the rationing system. LLMs will be the end of code rationing. Code is cheap now. And while the No Engineer is explaining why something can't be done, the Yes Engineer has already shipped three versions of it. If you're a Yes Engineer, the next decade is yours.

HOT TAKE: i think @ethos_network succeeded so far yes i know most of you won't agree with me but that has never stopped me from posting anything so here we go my thesis here is extremely simple. as someone who has merely made use the platform and have never farmed it one thing stands out the before and after ethos. you see i'm someone who's journey here started by getting scammed by fake giveaway providers and the deep trenches of the NFT marketing scene in 2021 back in those days having something like Ethos would have saved tens of millions of $$$ at least which ended up being thrown out of the window for stuff that was never delivered. there was no unified place to read people's opinions on crypto personalities or projects. and yes people can be wrong. i don't think ethos reflects the integrity or morality of CT accounts. it does however give more than it takes. it is a net positive for our space and i believe that any clear, objective and free to think mind will conclude the same yes, i'd say the same even if i'd be slashed down to 0

do i understand correctly that we take away responsibility for our own research and for our own actions in relation to the information we receive from kols and shift it to the opinion of a "certain group of people" who are considered right by default. did I get that right? are we degrading?

@BowsersaurusRex @givros I had the same thought. The GPT sprite sheets I keep seeing have layout issues. You can see it in these demo videos. Animations are shifting position a bunch. Still very cool... but I'm waiting to discover a way to automate that as well. Manual corrections would suuuck.
