And to be clear I write that as someone who thinks you did more for Bitcoin than anyone else in this discussion combined. All but respect for that, but at some point, it also has to be written than a BIP that burns other's people money for their own good, without their consent, because someone else may maybe steal it in 10 to 50 years is controversial at best.

You may take my word for it or not, but all I can say is that this is not at all the way it is perceived. Putting a footnote does not change the intent, or the fact time is wasted on what ifs instead of solving actual issues. You may disagree, but it is exactly how you marketed it and why folks are mad.

Single most underrated Claude Code Tip (I use this a dozen times a day): Esc+Esc rewinds your session to any previous checkpoint. Since I discovered this, I stopped being afraid of asking for longer, more complex changes because undoing them is free and easy. Let the agent go wild. Evaluate what it did. If it doesn't work, Esc+Esc and start again.

If you can actually legally retire and prove it, it is probably fine. But .py has different rules for retirees (like, you do have to prove solvency, can’t go the education route). Just write down your boring desk job, no shame in that. immigration office is not twitter where ppl pretend they care :P

@0xPhilH @Ale_PPathways Gotcha, so best one can fill is as Plan B told me 'retired' thats the best for no follow up questions...or foreign company owner something like that..both actually make sense unlike comerciante😂

Yes, they ask you what you do at home. The issue is, when some bro fills bs like "comerciante" , then , showing you filed IVA or are registered on the DNIT would somehow make sense (but a good follow up to rekt you would be to ask , well mister, if you do commerce locally why are there no taxes?)

@0xPhilH @Ale_PPathways Yeah thats what I though, as it does not rly make any sense..do you have to even fill any profession in temporary residency application if you are never planning to work in PY and your income comes from the outside?

I own a quite popular gun forum (like, old school forum). I regularly get these Chinese spikes - lasts 2-3 days, they do couple million requests and then F off. Guess they don't have data deals with google or internet archive so they are scraping everyone manually for their llm training.

Was at an ux conference yesterday. The amount of designers that were afraid of using ai (Claude Code eg) because of the environmental impact or sending data to an llm was crazy. We are all brainwashed it seems. Literally everyone uses Google and Gmail each day for free for years without any complaints.

Bypassing #EU #AgeVerification using their own infrastructure. I've ported the Android app logic to a Chrome extension - stripping out the pesky step of handing over biometric data which they can leak... and pass verification instantly. Step 1: Install the extension Step 2: Register an identity (just once) Step 3: Continue using the web as normal The extension detects the QR code, generates a cryptographically identical payload and tells the verifier I'm over 18, which it "fully trusts". This isn't a bug... it's a fundamental design flaw they can't solve without irrevocably tying a key to you personally; which then allows tracking/monitoring. Of course, I could skip the enrolment process entirely and hard-code the credentials into the extension... and the verifier would never know.
Paul Moore - Security Consultant @Paul_Reviews

Hacking the #EU #AgeVerification app in under 2 minutes. During setup, the app asks you to create a PIN. After entry, the app *encrypts* it and saves it in the shared_prefs directory. 1. It shouldn't be encrypted at all - that's a really poor design. 2. It's not cryptographically tied to the vault which contains the identity data. So, an attacker can simply remove the PinEnc/PinIV values from the shared_prefs file and restart the app. After choosing a different PIN, the app presents credentials created under the old profile and let's the attacker present them as valid. Other issues: 1. Rate limiting is an incrementing number in the same config file. Just reset it to 0 and keep trying. 2. "UseBiometricAuth" is a boolean, also in the same file. Set it to false and it just skips that step. Seriously @vonderleyen - this product will be the catalyst for an enormous breach at some point. It's just a matter of time.

@Vladcostea As I proposed to loop already, why not just propose BIP-42069 to freeze every UTXO? Hear me out: - No quantum risk - No wrench attacks - Perpetual HODL, so maxis ultimate value proposition This is the only sane way.

The law does not prevent rising of prices. The issue of Italian dispute was, whether or not "I accept" can be the default action in case when conditions are changed on a perpetual contract. Italian court ruled that it can not. Basically, when Netflix upped the price, they were supposed to cancel everyone's contract, and let them re-sign, if they want to continue the service. Not use the (standard) approach of "if you do not agree then cancel by date X".

Which laws does Germany, Italy and Spain have that prevent Netflix from raising their prices? There’s clearly a lot of streaming competition so Netflix is clearly not a monopoly. Just populist left wing politicians that think “people like cheap Netflix” so let’s enforce that..?
