@domenic I want a tmux with many containerized claudes and a web ui to prompt them all. Vscode CLI to jump into the diff of one. Also maybe a way to persist context and share it across agents

After coding on a laptop for a week I've realized that Cursor drains my battery with nonstop ~30% CPU usage whereas VSCode sips it. For a Claude Code centric workflow, I'm switching back to VSCode as my diff viewer.
Domenic Denicola@domenic

I've had both VSCode and Cursor installed for some time but haven't yet taken the step of uninstalling VSCode. Is this irrational, or is there anything I might miss out on by being Cursor-only? Maybe the Claude Code extension? (Which I haven't used.)

we live in a financial world dominated by automated trading (60-80% of trading on nasdaq is bot volume, and also v dominant on solana) retail volume does not really change with spread when the spread is already low (i.e. no behavioral difference between 1 and 0.1 bp spread), but with sufficient liquidity we expect bot volume to be inversely proportional to spread as more arbitrage opportunities between venues appear when spreads are low and price jumps present themselves. the only way to deliver low spreads to retail is by either filtering out bots, or being so good at quoting that you are able to survive the onslaught of bots when you offer low spreads

@cavemanloverboy Yeah an offset feels not broken, but oscillating around an offset, or any walk that avoids the hands, and you’ve got a broken clock

@0xSender_ unless of course the clock is (defined to be) broken in such a way that it introduces a one-time offset

@matterasmachine Can you elaborate on this, what do you mean randomly change coordinates? Not quite seeing the analogy to double slit

We can emulate "observer effect". We randomly change coordinates used to draw lines and patter disappears (see the right part of the image). The same way interference pattern disappears when we add observation device in the double slit experiment: observation device affects passing particles.

I was the lead market maker at Jump. I'm no longer under NDA so I can say this, Typically when you see down moves during the weekends like this, it is pure market manipulation. It was one of the tactics I invented during the low volume moments. We would load up and pay attention to Crypto Twitter as a source of sentiment, with specific accounts organized in specific categories. One thing I used to like doing was purposely "nuking" a new 4H candle on BTC and/or ETH, which was an easy trap. "Smart" traders know we'll eventually revisit those wickless candles, so it was good bait for me to set with eager buyers stepping in and the candle continuing lower. They end up capitulating before we reverse. Bottom shorters get comfortable here too. Anyway, I can't give away too much but just know, Most of thos "bad" price action you're seeing is a group of "whales" sitting in a chatroom together and merely oil painting on charts. My alias in Jump was "Vincent van Gogh." And that isn't because I lost my mind [well - that too], But because I painted some of the best looking bear traps. I know an influenced painter copying my work when I see one. Stay safe. Retar Dio.

Encountering a bun.js 1.1.44 issue. I'm using createConnection(path) from net to subscribe to an IPC socket. It works fine for a few minutes, getting updates, until i get a client.on('error') [native code: Exception] @jarredsumner any ideas on this one?

oh no I have a pretty good idea what’s causing this and it means we’re missing code that unwraps the exception into an error object. Is it also possible that you’re running a different version of bun on the other end? If my guess is correct likely started in 1.1.43 rather than 1.1.44

Today, our team at Perena launched Numéraire — the first multi-tiered stableswap on @Solana. Why another AMM? We're seeing unprecedented growth in stablecoin adoption and issuer diversification, yet existing AMMs only support linear growth, not exponential growth. The two-token AMM model reinforces stablecoin monopoly and is extremely capital inefficient, forcing new stablecoins to pair with USDC while leaving majority of the liquidity idle. Numéraire pairs its Seed Pool LP token USD* (USDC/USDT/PYUSD) with new stablecoins like USDS. This gives new stablecoins instant liquidity on Solana and allows LPs to earn swap fees from both USD* and the USD*-USDS pool. What's next for Perena? We built a stableswap, but we just got started. Perena is bringing stablecoins from new issuers, from other chains, from fiat, and from centralized exchanges, all to Solana. We aim to diversify stablecoin issuance, expand stablecoin use cases, and deepen on-chain liquidity. Numéraire is the first step in linking stablecoin liquidity with DeFi and real-world applications. We'll be partnering with fintechs & TradFi to accelerate their adoption of stablecoins on Solana. Swap. Earn. Own. Solana is the home of stablecoins.

The Perena Pool –– Numeraire is here. Multi-asset. Deep liquidity. Dynamic. Built for growth. More 🪻🧵
