I will not be burning money for the @megaeth airdrop.
Their airdrop campaign just went live with a dedicated terminal: terminal.megaeth.com
2.5% supply will be dropped which I feel is too low.
I checked some of the tasks and it's a similar playbook to Abstract:
- buy packs
- trade cards,
- gamble with gacha
I personally feel such tasks are a waste of time and money. Plus, most of these app are rigged for you to never win.
I will still be farming the airdrop but my approach will be much simpler and more sustainable.
Swaps, LP and trading perps is what works best for me.
The idea is to keep ROI neutral (or slightly +) and the airdrop will just be a bonus.

@themagic_trader @mcgeth 2.8% in liquidity seems high to me. For Hyperliquid, it was 0.012% for an airdrop representing 31% of the supply...

400$, that's what you lose if you try to bridge to Megaeth, and that's the main problem
On @debridge via Rabbithole official website, bridging $20k costs around 200-400$ stable to stable
@aori_io is cheaper, around 40$, but :

This should have been the main focus, it's like building an attraction park with an overpriced ticket
This and the lack of apps are imo 95% of the mainnet problems rn, and what team should really focus on
(I know it's cheaper in ETH, but everyone wants USDm, don't ask them to find a workaround, just make it happen)

Ok let's address it I'm a bit disappointed by Megaeth mainnet : - Ecosystem isn't ready, I expected 40-50% of apps live, but most aren't, and the best ones are yet to launch - Onboarding was messy for some apps, not Megaeth's fault but some weren't ready - Nothing exciting, maybe lack of apps or market euphoria, but I didn't feel it, not much on my TL too That said, short-term hype isn't that important, what matters is apps slowly attracting users long term I still believe Megaeth's future is bright, but it will take more time than I thought to shine

@munchPRMR They need to fix bridge asap, for 20k i'm losing 200-400$ on the bridge on Rabbithole, the best i can have is losing 40$ on Aori

After refund: 280M Mega locked and 161M unlocked. The total does not add up to 500M, so either I am missing some, or they have not distributed 5%.
