Excited to share that I’ve joined the Canton Foundation as Ecosystem BD working under executive director @MlvsBznz Why Canton? Because it’s the first network where the world’s largest institutions are coming together on-chain including Goldman Sachs, HSBC, BNP Paribas, Broadridge, Tradeweb, DTCC, and more. In this role, my focus is on how DeFi can plug into institutional workflows. Canton has already supported some of the most ambitious pilots in the space, bringing real volume on-chain. What excites me is the chance to take the early ambitions of DeFi (yield, permissionless composability, no middleman) and show how they can strengthen the systems institutions already run at scale. The real value of Canton is its network effect of institutions combined with a tech stack designed for their needs: privacy, counterparty visibility, auditing, and regulatory alignment. Beta Testnet ➜ Demonstrate transaction processing between Canton and Zenith EVM ➜ Implement external_call() in Daml ➜ Deploy a Zenith Stack chain on Canton Test Network, interacting with Zenith Test Network As of March 4th, 2026 we have fully demoed this in production, been held accountable by several governing committees to our deadlines, and are now approved for the release of our Milestone 1 $CC weight. TL;DR It means we're on track with all of our roadmap, and the mainnet ETA is right around the corner. The question on everyone's mind... citi surveyed their institutional clients about crypto custody. almost nobody wanted to manage their own wallets. they just wanted bitcoin in the same account as their bonds. that one detail alone tells you more about the next 5 years of crypto distribution than anything. - $39 trillion in client assets between citi and morgan stanley. - both building custody this year. morgan stanley adding staking, trading, lending. - E*TRADE’s 5.6 million accounts getting direct access. rails aren’t only being built by protocols anymore. majority of projects haven’t thought about what that means for how they distribute.

JUST IN: Binance founder CZ says lack of privacy is the missing link to crypto payment adoption.

In the summer of 2025, I reached out to more than 300 validators, quietly accumulating $CC OTC over 4–5 months of patient uncertainty with no clear timeline for listings, no guarantees of liquidity on the horizon. Yet @zenithfdn staked our entire team and every resource on constructing the EVM/SVM stack for Canton, long before it emerged as one of crypto’s most utility-dense networks. That unwavering commitment was met with alignment in its purest form. The law of reciprocity holds: genuine value, delivered without reservation, tends to return amplified. My good friend @AndrewDurgee taught me a rising tide does not merely lift all boats, it first rewards those who dared to sail farthest from shore, who charted unproven waters and laid the keels when the sea was still calm and the charts incomplete. When the fog clears and the swell finally arrives, the horizon is borne visible for everyone; but it’s the early builders who find their vessels carried to their zenith that see the farthest. At @KASTxyz are dropping FX from 2% to 0.5-1.75% & USD spend remains 0% We are constantly renegotiating contracts, and this allows us to reduce costs, and pass this onto users. Why was it 2% in the first place? — Let me explain, for those who want the long version. 1/ The schemes charge a cross-border fee of 1%. This applies to FX & even USD which is spent outside the US (for which we charge 0% but makes up 20% of spend. Combined the blended was 1.2-1.3% in costs 2/ Then we have processing fees, for authorization and settlement, which is higher in cross-border. This is typically another 0.3-0.4% 3/ Then we have the fraud, decline and other costs which are higher on FX transactions. 4/ And costs to swap & settle USDC/T to the schemes. Blended, it cost us >2%. We charged 2% to cover costs. The good news, is because we now have scale and funds, renegotiate and bring these costs down. It’s a multi-year process, and complicated. Why the variance between 0% and 1.75%? Because our costs are different between markets, and where we can go lower we will. Soon, we hope to have multi-currency cards which would have no FX in places like Europe, Brazil etc. My target for later this year is to reduce the maximum to 1.5% and have over 50% of where global spend happens at between 0-1%. Far from done yet, just getting started.

Blockspace is valuable if there is network effects and utility to doing this transaction on-chain. Otherwise, you’re just racing to zero
