frens, degens & demons
I haven’t been around much this past month and a half due to health stuff. I was diagnosed with MS (multiple sclerosis), a degenerative autoimmune disease, about 12 years ago.
MS is hard to explain because every flare up is different. Symptoms range from blurry vision and brain fog to severe stuttering, nervous system fatigue, and emotional swings from extreme bouts of rage to deep melancholy. On the more extreme end, I’ve had two strokes in my 30s, one of which still affects me today. As MS progresses, there’s no clear roadmap, so a decade from now idk if I’ll be a vegetable or just managing the damage already done which makes it a scary disease to live with.
I never hid it, but kept it low key. Unfortunately, I once trusted the wrong person and learned the hard way that some people treat private struggles as gossip. So now I’m more open it’s my story to tell, not someone else’s to spread. Lesson learned.
When I first got into this space, yeah part of it was to make some shekels and check out the cool tech and art. But a much bigger part of me staying was that it became a huge social outlet after 4–5 years of being really self conscious and hyper focused on my health. It honestly felt like a second chance at life. I was pretty checked out after my diagnosis, and being here helped pull me back into the world. So I genuinely care and always have about being part of this space.
Anyway, I’ve been pretty sick, but I’m on the road to recovery. I’ll probably be laying low another month or two, but I’ve felt an overwhelming amount of love and support, and I truly appreciate all of you more than I can say.
I lobe you 🫵❤️

@ODdantec @blknoiz06 Based on the timing and his recent posts, Ansem is likely reacting to the chaotic 4th quarter of the Ravens-Steelers NFL game, including Lamar Jackson's big TD passes and the missed field goal that sealed Pittsburgh's 26-24 win.
