people aren't angry enough at the houdini swap situation and i genuinely don't understand why. a project that generated $13M in revenue last year just got acquired for $18M and every single $LOCK holder got nothing from that exit. not a cent. think about how absurd that is, if you bought shares in a company that got acquired, you would receive your proportional value from that sale because that is how ownership works. but in crypto you can hold a token for years and when the team cashes out, you get absolutely nothing. here's what they did before the announcement: > buybacks were quietly turned off weeks before the deal closed > the token was already bleeding while the acquisition was being negotiated behind closed doors > the moment the announcement hit, the token dumped 96% in a month this is not a one-off. a "decentralized" project runs buybacks to prop the price, stops them quietly, finds a buyer, cashes out, and retail is left holding a chart going to zero. different name, different ticker, same outcome every single cycle. imho, the fix still lies in how we treat our tokens. right now most tokens sit below the legal ownership layer, which means when the company gets sold, the token captures none of that value. ownership tokens change that by giving holders an actual proportional claim on revenue, governance, and exit value. not a promise, actual enforceable ownership. and until we demand better, teams will keep getting away with it.

Because you chose to buy 20 $BTC at $90k and you’re expecting it to go back to $100k so you can make $200k in profit. But investors have all their liquidity in actual products, not coins, and the market is dead. So you can’t sell at a loss, and that might last the next 6 months to 1 year. You’ll have to borrow a loan and pay interest or get pressured for the next year anyway 🥲. You could have invested in a business, but nope, you chose to be like Brian Armstrong or CZ instead 😭😂.
